    2. An option to show VoodooAi result on alert or not?

I just had the latest version freeze on me again. I noticed my PC was starting to run a bit sluggish (Chrome was taking ~15 seconds to start each time, it typically starts in about 1-2 seconds) and then I noticed the shield was stuck off, and when I clicked on it, it popped up the right click menu but I can't interact with it. I had to end the processes and reboot to get it working again. I do have a USB external HDD plugged in but it is always plugged in, I never unplug it.

Nothing odd about it in the task manager though. I created dump files via task manager, I'm not sure if those would help. If there is anything I can give you to help out with this let me know. Everything is back to normal after a reboot.

After testing Ghostpress and allowing it run against VoodooAi's advice VoodooShield freezes again.
VoodooShield.exe consumes 2.2 MB and VoodooShieldService 10.5 MB.
@VoodooShield Dan, do you need any more information from me?

    Dan,

VS 3.22 froze on me last night when HitmanPro.Alert tried to update. I have emailed you the logs.

    VS Blocking Alert from Updating.PNG

I thought VS was only supposed to block while a Web App was open?

Went back at least 15 pages and still not entirely sure how VoodoAI works but so far I love it [setting at middle on AutoPilot]. Nice to see what I understand to be something of a real-time community based rankings scanner engine but could not find any details in my brief search or in the app itself. Where can I find such info about VoodooAI's inner workings?
Pleased VoodooShield Pro customer and no issues with the Beta since VoodooAI came out of nowhere to make it easier on people who are not completely tech savvy and leaving "Smart" mode to make the big decisions for me. Running alongside ESET Smart Security 9 in Windows 10 x64 Enterprise [build 1511 as I stopped being an Insider as it caused too many issues]. I also run Hitman Pro and HerdProtect as needed scanners. I do have a HitmanPro.Alert license but I do not run it anymore alongside Voodoo like I used to. I find Voodoo and ESET to be fine and rarely have a problem with either. But again if anyone could point me to some VoodooAI knowledge or enlighten me in brief --- it would be much apprecated!

I will catch up on the posts asap, but here is the latest version... I really, really, really believe the freeze issues are completely fixed now. I made a massive amount of changes, so hopefully I did not forget anything ;). Thank you guys, talk to you soon!

Well, I was prompted to allow something while a Web App was running (twice) which I allowed and no freeze! Dan, it is really early days with 3.23 but maybe, just maybe, we have a winner. :thumb:

There is a very good user guide that you can get from the Download page of their website:
    https://voodooshield.com/
The pdf download is at the bottom, below the VS version downloads.

So far so good with version 3.23 installed over the top of 3.22. Had to reboot.
Installed a program unsafe by VoodooAI: Keyboard LEDs (i think a false positive) and no freezing occurred :thumb:
If anything changes I will report it. Thanks Dan for the new version.

Thank you everyone, I will reply to the rest of the posts asap, but real quick... Gandalf, this may not be a false positive ;)... based on Cuckoo, I would say a VoodooAi score of 0.6874 is about right, Cuckoo was 7.8. Like, it is not super bad malware, but it definitely has issues.

    Creates RWX memory

Executes JavaScript containing allowScriptAccess=always, possibly indicative of a Flash exploit attempt

Reads data out of its own binary image

    Performs some HTTP requests

Tries to unhook or modify Windows functions monitored by Cuckoo

Installs itself for autorun at Windows startup

Creates a hidden or system file

    Attempts to modify proxy settings

I installed and put it in auto mode. I then decided to play 'stupid' and leave VS to block. Please see the attached to see which files are blocked. Does VS eventually unblock these files by itself or do I have to? If I have to unblock, I assume it is advisable to run VS in training mode for a day or two, and also install new programs with VS disabled?

I'm looking for a program for the non-techie - doesn't require any input from the user.
