After opening Cyberfox 64-bit Intel version I was prompted to update to 45.0.1. No prompt for Firefox at this time.

Durn. Just a day after all three systems squared away with .1. Thanks for the heads up. 45.0.2 workin' good.

On strangeness I noticed beginning with 45 on all the systems was Undo Close Tab was greyed out but hadn't had a chance to chase it down until today.

Found the browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo and browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo Preferences got themselves set to 0. Have no idea how that happened as I just copy the previous version's Profile folder to the new one. I went and checked the 44.0.2 Profile folder and those prefs are not 0. Weird.

Restoring to default values took care of that.

Cyberfox now offers Intel and AMD versions of its browsers.

If you've installed Intel on an AMD processor I have in the past, don't worry - I haven't noticed a difference.

Not on x64 Windows 7 that I'm running.

When I look in CCleaner > Tools > Browser Plugins > Firefox, I see a new Plugin without a name and a version of "0", no Publisher but it says the Product is Cyberfox 46, no file or path.

    Anyone else see this Plugin?

    Critical! cyberfox 46.0.2 installer
Important: All users who have cyberfox 46.0.2 installed DON'T UNINSTALL the browser, We are very sorry but there is a CRITICAL issue with change set for "Generate RegisteredApplications registry key" during the uninstall process it may remove "RegisteredApplications registry key" causing an empty default programs list.

Again we are extremely sorry about this issue, A update is been generated as we speak, Users can re-download the cyberfox installer and install over top of current installs as we have updated the installers for 46.0.2 with the fix.

Cyberfox 46.0.3 is on its way, Clean install option has been disabled for this release to prevent the issue occurring, A support article for users who have been affected by the issue to help restore the defaults programs list, This is the first real major problem with cyberfox's installer since its conception and we are doing everything we can to mitigate this issue.

    Cyberfox 46.0.3
    Cyberfox Installer
    • Critical: Fixed issue with RegisteredApplications during uninstallation. (Lost of default programs listings)
    • Fixed: If distribution folder exists, When removing it leave {app} directory to preserve user add files. i.e addons etc
    • Fixed: Issue where desktop shortcut was not removed during uninstallation (Rename modified desktop shortcut to prevent removal)

    Cyberfox 47.0 Intel 64 Portable - Windows 7 x64

Me a lucky dog! *puppy* All my extensions migrated and function OK from 46.0.3 including Flash Control 2.1.0 which I stash in the App\Cyberfox\browser\features folder. Here they be FWIW:

    CF47extensions.jpg

My prediction: 5 days for Moz to roll out 47.0.1.

I don't. It's just another unnecessary program as far as I can tell. CF always notifies me an update is available without it.

Yeah, but you have to download the installer and update it manually.
Cyberfox Update Manager checks and updates it for you.

    A personal choice, I guess.

... And Firefox updates automatically without either manually looking for the download or without needing another program installed.

I love Firefox. It's still my favorite browser, but it actually does use a separate update service.
    Maybe you haven't noticed.
