Great thanks but as Shawn said "real world test scenario" is what really matters.

Well "having a keylogger log some special characters" but wait for support to reply to you.

Is WSA still suppose to be compatible with other AV's? I ask because i'm using Eset Smart Security 9, and WSA together with no noticeable problems. I usually don't use two AV's together, I was just curious if they still work together. I thought I would try using them together, and see what happened. I used Process Explorer to make sure Eset was still able to inject into Firefox, and discovered it was not. If I shut down WSA Eset injects into firefox.exe as expected. If I enable WSA then Eset is no longer able to inject into Firefox again. They must use similar, or the same injection technique.

    Edit: 4/11 @ 12:29
It could also be WSA's Identity Protection which protects Firefox from injection attacks.

I could see things like this happening but it wouldn't hurt to contact Webroot Support and they could look into it.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

    Who said it failed?
It's not a Real World Test IMO

WSA score 94% when being certified would be 98% , not so bad for default setting.

Even if i dislike test labs , this test's methodology would be the closest thing to real word usage; with samples submitted by others (not the testing labs) , avoiding the 3 years old samples from ethopia that nobody will ever encounter.

however my problem with it is:

So submitting a sample you have a signature  pointless.

why not test the 500 to be fair to every vendors ! I would like the list of the 253 malwares ! tests can easily be "oriented"

It is why i never trust test labs.

Every time webroot is tested the scores are bad, I think there is no excuse anymore.

    found a possible bug:

when installed alongside Rollback RX , WSA may reset its settings after a rollback:

    Procedure:

    - install RX
    - Install WSA on admin account, implement whatever settings you may need.
    - take a snapshot with RX
    - let pass a day or two, while using your computer normally
    - rollback to the previous created RX snapshot
    - WSA options made after installation are gone, WSA revert to default settings.

i will try to reproduce it again, hope it was a one-time bug.

I've been using WSA since it started on our computers. My Wife "The Happy Clicker" has NEVER been infected, neither have I. My Grandchildren (most teenagers) have WSA on their computers. Knowing teens now-a-days, Lord knows what they're looking at on a computer. They have never been infected. My faith in these Antivirus test is "ZERO". People change Security Software like they change their underwear when they seen these tests. Like @Triple Helix stated these tests are not Real World Tests. The Real World Test comes from the person sitting at His/Her computer. :)

You make a lot of sense but I have to agree with guest too...WSA should be closer to the top 10%

Correct do you see anyone complaining of infections here or at the Webroot Community? Maybe 5 at the most in 2015 but not sure if even that many and Webroot Support will help anyone clean there system free of charge with there paid subscription even if it's a PUA.

If it happens again Submit a Support Ticket and let them know what's going on and they can get some logs from you!

    Thanks,

    Daniel

It would be great to start a Company gathering information from all these malware removal websites and forums on what kind of Security Software was on the computer when it was infected. I wonder who would come in first. :)
