Thank You. The results were as expected and are inline with mine, when compared with both the extensions (browser)
Have been running the android trial version of AdGuard on new Galaxy S7 Edge & while it does the job it certainly sucks the battery life dry. If I disable AdGuard protection & stop it loading on every boot I get better battery life.
I've just downloaded and installed the 2.5.39 version and activated the trial. Do I need to enable HTTPS scanning for blocking YouTube ads?
Switched adguard filters with the one i use in ublock and now the speed of loading pages are quite close to ublock . But now started having the same error again , have attached the logs.
hi may i ask a question? can i add to adguard the list Malvertising filter list by Disconnect‎ ? here is the link Code: https://s3.amazonaws.com/lists.disconnect.me/simple_malvertising.txt thanks
hi i'm using adguard for chrome ,the extension i haven't Filter Subscriptions>Add Filter>Add Filter by URL thanks
Adguard giveaway... http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/easter/ Still trying to figure out how to enter that license key file as opposed to a serial#... em'd adguard, waiting for answer.
I accidentally removed some entries from the HTTPS exclusions list and committed changes. Now I forgot the correct name to re-enter. Is there a file somewhere that AdGuard keeps with the list of exclusions?
can someone who's used both briefly compare ag (add-on version) with ub0? you know, pros & cons maybe?
I tried a search of this adguard thread and this subject did not come up. I have paid version of adguard, been using it aok, and it recently updated. Also recently, I noticed that adguard changes, or appears to change, the ssl fingerprint on https websites. I disabled adguard and fingerprints are correct. Is this how it is supposed to operate? If so, is that "secure?" Seems more like some type of hack, but don't know for sure. Any real concern about this??
Take a look at the settings you have in the Stealth Mode tab of the AG GUI, along with the Manage HTTPS Exclusions list in the General Settings tab. These are the sections that can manipulate things.
ok, thanks, I thought it might be something understandable & controllable, the issue popped up for me in the middle of something else and caught me off guard and somewhat paranoid. thanks.
Bought Nexus 5x 5 days ago and installed adguard and also activated the trial license. The stats are absurd . How can it have saved 2 gb bandwidth in 5 days ?! Have just been installing apps and a redditing in the mean time.
Of course that's not possible. Just look at AG stats to see which app goes mad because of ad blocking (starts repeating ad requests for instance).
Offtopic: anyone know how to make wildersecurity send me an email notification about new posts here? I've clicked "watch thread", but it just does not work
By the way I have some important announces. Adguard for Windows v6.0R2 First of all, we've finally released Adguard 6.0R2, important patch for v6.0 fixing tons of bugs found since the first release: https://blog.adguard.com/en/news/adguard-for-windows-update-version-6-0-224.html Now we'll turn autoupdate ON for those who still use v5.10. Roadmap We've published AG roadmap: https://blog.adguard.com/en/adguard-news/adguard-roadmap.html The main feature we are working at right now is cloud sync. You'll be able to sync settings between PC, Android, iOS, Mac and browser extensions. Adguard for Android v2.5 beta There were already two beta versions (second released yesterday) of this major update: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForAndroid/releases The main feature is HTTPS filtering allowing us to block almost every ad out there (including Youtube ads).
Thanks for the update! But, there's no mention of HTTP/2 compatibility in the roadmap. I guess this would not be implemented in the near future.
@avatar and all the adguard team Again congrats on this release, really has developed over time. The future roadmap looks brighter as well
It is just not considered a major feature . Most users won't notice this change. But of course it will be implemented.
Click "Unwatch thread" and let it commit. Then click "Watch thread" again, and it should pop up with options such as "Watch with email notifications" and "Watch without email notifications".
