@StillBorn The download link opens in a new window. If you have a popups blocked, that would be why it's not working.

I can download it using Chrome.

@roger_m Yep! Now that I've been there, done that... sure do wish HMP had a free alternative. C'est la vie...

    Thank you, Roger!

It's just a free version with limited functionality (no real-time protection).

Can someone explain, what exactly that means.

I had several customers machines, where dnsapi.dll was flagged and repair as action was selected.
Repair did not work, but broke Internet...

    Glad to hear.
    THX,
solved the dnsapi.dll/broken internet issue myself.
Looking forward to Zemana, fixing the repair issue.

There is nothing to fix, by Zemana.
The installer has a valid digital signature, but low reputation, because it's brand new.

That's how SmartScreen and other reputation filters work.

    I've found some issues:
The context menu scan bug which I reported over 3 months ago has still not been fixed.

When Zemana needs to upload a number of files, it uploads 8 files simultaneously. Because I have very slow upload speed for my internet connection, uploading so many files at once renders my internet connection almost unusable.

There is no way to select a specific threat from the scan results. After doing a scan, I would like to exclude all detected components of Tencent PC Manager, but quarantine most (if not all) of the other items detected. Currently there is no easy way to do that. I'm waiting for details of the hijacks you allege PC Manager does before I make a decision on whether to stop using it or not (the statment "significant and sophisticated hijacks" without any explantion is meaninless to me). Until then, I'll keep installing PC Manager on computers.

    Hallo
If i execute an exe file witch is very big for example 800 mb the execution is slow.
Can we have an option to not check exe files above 100 mb for example?

Starting with this version Zemana AntiMalware can detect and clean the hijacked homepage and search providers of MS Edge browser by decrypting the ProtectedSearchScopes and ProtectedHomepages binary values in the following registry location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Storage\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\MicrosoftEdge\Protected - It is a violation of Windows Policy to modify. See aka.ms/browserpolicy

Today i was playing bf4 and somthing interupted me. It was zemana.
It catched a malware file, witch actually was in my temp file and executed alone.
It saved me. It wasnt a false positive.
    It bypassed eset.
I dont remember the file because after i scan it with virus total i quick cleaned it and i puss the clear the history button.

ZAM is what is says: A second opinion scanner / an added security layer.
    Nothing more, nothing less, imo.

Hmm i am very excited that saved me. It was something like trojan zombie. I dont remember very well.
And i am an experienced user, so defenitely we always must use an antivirus, exprerience is not everything.
I checked my pc full scan with zemana, malwarebytes and hitman pro.
    Its ok.

It's more then just a second opinion scanner IMO it's detection rate(live or on demand) is always improving and worthy of being a main arsenal in your armor.
