Thanks for the info, good to know, that I am well protected against this one, but I have added one more bcdedit entry, which could prove useful. Since safe mode disables UAC and other security, it makes Windows much more vulnerable, it is better to keep it off by default, until necessary. bcdedit /deletevalue {current} safeboot bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot
