    Indeed a false positive.

Contraproductive too, because starting IE without extensions is usually safer, than start with extensions, except adblocker.

I found a bug with the new beta. Maybe it is in other versions too. I did a scan and selected all detected items as being safe. When I selected to do the cleaning, while everything was added to the whitelist as expected, Zemana informed me it needed to close all browsers to clean the threats, and then closed by browser. This should not have happened since nothing was being removed.

Watchdog Anti-Malware codes does not work with Zemana Anti-Malware anymore for me as well, just tryed with brand new promo key and key which has been previously activated, ZAM may have disabled them, but thats good, 2 different companies shouldn't share keys even if WAM is rebranded product of ZAM

All "tested" products are second opinion scanners, and used if a system is suspicious, or infected, and has already been scanned by an AV.
Scanning folders, with malicious samples, is not what the candidates are made for.
Although ZAM did quite well in this "test", the result is worth nothing.

    BTW:
Links to You-tests are against forum rules.
The forum operators know why..., most You-tests are worth nothing, because not real world.

Are these really bad items that should be removed or quarantined? It's the fake Chrome thing apparently. Dr. Web Security Space 11 did not detect these on a full scan last night.

@jjc225 You need to resize the Path column to make it bigger so the file names are shown.

It's a on demand scan test, the problem starts when people think that is a different thing for whatever reason

@jjc225 They are components of the Pokki app store.

According to Malwaretips, Pokki can display pop ups. But, the removal guides at Malwaretips are not a reliable source of information.

Does anybody know what the deal is about downloading the antimalware freebie on Zemana's website? Click, click, click to no avail via Chrome and Opera. The "free" antimalware link gives absolutely no response whatsoever.
Switched over to cnet for a potential quickie and ublock blocks the entire site altogether. ---->>No surprise there.... :argh:
