Exactly, I have the same problem, actually most, if not all of Microsoft's apps, features and Windows store are grey which means blank, on the taskbar I cannot even click on Windows store icon because it's grey/blank and it's like it's not even there, what exactly should we do about this?

Wait for another Windows 10 upgrade which would fix all these problemso_O?

That's what fixed it for me with the 1511 upgrade, but then it went south again after some time.

Well, everything was running just fine with my Microsoft's apps and features, but after I have fixed Microsoft Edge with Windows powershell (I found it on Microsoft's website) everything else stopped to work-do you think that trick that Ronjor mentioned would work did you try it?
    I mean on this:
Uninstall and reinstall all Microsoft's apps and features:
    http://www.howtogeek.com/224798/how...-10s-built-in-apps-and-how-to-reinstall-them/

Did you try uninstall them by using Windows powershell like the website describes?
I'm actually scared of using this option uninstall and reinstall through Windows power shell, because this is exactly how I lost all those Microsoft's apps and features as well as Windows store, this is why I'm so scared I will lose all data, or something would be damaged.
Did you perhaps try this mentioned option to fix your errors?

Just for the record, I don't care too much about Windows store that it's broken, it's just that some apps like calculator and apps which enable watching movies, listening to music are also screwed, I mean why calculator, and solitaire game for example?
Sure I figured the way around this-of course I use Windows media player, and irfanview for example, but still....
I truly don't know what to do actually.

I would really try roger_m's suggestion in post #2528 of running 'Repair Windows 8/10 App Store' repair in Windows Repair from tweaking.com.

For best result use the option to run in safe mode.

Sorry, but I simply don't trust utilities like these, since I have bad experience with Powershell, there is too much on what I should do, and there is plenty of things you need to do with your hardware, I cannot do that since my knowledge of new hardware is like zero, I would have hire an expert to actually show how to do it and what do it, plus I really don't have much time for all of this, I'll rather wait until the very next major upgrade that will, I truly hope fixed all errors-most likely.

How about this simple script which is based on simple batch/ps and got also the ability to revert each tweak. + you can directly do snapshots/win backups. This is the only external thing I use/need for Windows 10. :thumb:;)

There'a really nothing else like Windows Repair, and there's no need not to trust it. By default it does a registry backup before doing any repairs, so if something goes wrong (which is extremely unlikely) you can restore from the registry backup. It is an excellent tool, and is updated reguarly.

@mantra It works for Windows 8/8.1 as well as 10.

I agree with @roger_m . I've used a few times now and it has fixed some issues I was experiencing.

    It also works for Win7.

I don't think you understand what I meant-I do not have the knowledge of all this-especially after I read what you need to do with hardware stuff, that's just waaay too much for me, that's waaay beyond my knowledge of hardware, besides people solved this by Windows 10 upgrades, so I'll rather wait for another major upgrade-and this, hopefully will solve all problems-what do you think?

Just look on the link you posted above, on Windows repair just how much you have to do in order to do windows repair, just horrible.
You might have that kind of knowledge, but I don't.

    CoolWebSearch,

You could reinstall the Win10 ver 1511 update. That should fix your issue with Windows apps.

Windows Repair will guide you through every step. It recommends you run a check for disk errors and check with Microsoft's System File Checker (SFC) before you do any fo the repairs. But, you don't have either manually, both can be run from Windows Repar.

    WR 1.png
All you have to do here is click on the Check button to run chkdsk. If there are any errors reported, you just click on the Open Check Disk At Next Boot, and then restart Windows.

    WR 2.png
Here, you just press the Do It button to run the System File Checker.

I have to admit, I'm still very suspicious, for God's sake why do I need to turn off power card in the first place, that's what it says on the link you posted on tweaking.com-I'm sorry, but I don't know how to do that, sorry, that's too much for my average using?
If it's possible, if you already in good mood, could you please, write step by step, what exactly is needed besides for power card, to repair windows and what to repair in the first place?
Big thanks in advance for your time and patience.

Yes, I know check for errors first, which is funny, since I did that the other day, and it says there are no errors-yeah right, who is crazy here me or the computer....

@CoolWebSearch This is power cord step, which is you don't actually need to do. For a desktop, power it off and then unplug the power cord from back of the desktop and then press the power button a few times. For a laptop, power it off, remove the power cord, remove the battery, then press the power button a few times.

You don't need to do these steps first. In very rare cases some issues can be fixed by completely draining the power from your computer, and becuase it this, it won't hurt to do so, but you can still run Windows Repair without doing so.

Does anybody know how to map a directory to another computer? It's simple between XP and 7, yet I can't find the menu for mapping :(
I just need Win10 to see ONE directory on my XP.
