I don't have it in my browser, the thing is:
I use lastpass in my browser, but according to lastpass if you install it locally (using the isntaller and not just the standalone chrome extension) you get additional protection.
So I have lastpass installed in my browser, I don't have webroot extension, but when I try to install lastpass using the installer, it tries to install "webroot".

what is "it's" in your opinion .... WSA does not have firewall. WSA users run Windows Firewall or other Firewall.

It's always suggested to have a Back Up Plan with your favorite Back Up program. But WSA does rollback most ransomware and that's why Webroot is always working on it's client to have added generic detection hence the program updates.

I asked for explain of ENHANCED! Anti-Ransomware with reply from Webroot Community.
That's proprietary. We don't want to tell bad guys what we do.
    --------------------------------------------
WSA relies on Windows Firewall. Take away Windows Firewall.
Does WSA have smart or dumb firewall...?
    Why nitpick.

You know as much as I do and as you know they don't give out details on features, so the bad guys get to know.

I have the Webroot filtering extension installed but the icon doesn't appear next to the address bar in Chrome.
    Is this by design?
    Thank you.

TinyWall and WFC do not have the same functionality as Webroot's firewall on W7.

For W8 and W10, best Webroot can do is to adopt the same methodology as TinyWall, WFC - and every other soft vendor that includes a firewall.

Why they haven't done it by now I have no idea.

Webroot, in fact, suggests W8 and W10 users adopt WFC - or at least that is what I recall reading on the Webroot community... LOL.

hey, @Triple Helix, do you know whether WSA AV should be including the Chrome extension? I installed it on a family member's PC and it didn't install the extension, and it didn't install it when I tested WSA AV in a Windows 10 VM either.

Webroot support stated emphatically that it should install automatically, but I'm not particularly interested in calling them and waiting 90+ mins for a tech to tell me it's not supposed to be installed w/the low end version. (They told me to call after I provided diagnostic data via the helpdesk)
