lol funny how people talk without knowing what happens in the background. i'm sure they don't even knows that Windows just banned the SHA-1 , while Adguard was almost ready to release the stable version. So now they have to retest the program to adjust this change.

    unwanted things happen sometimes.

    Tried RC 2 on Win 10 64.

    A bug -

I proceeded with wizard - where customize was available I selected "Customize" & unchecked the options & where customize was not available I selected "No thanks" & completed the wizard.
But the options/filters I had "unchecked" were enabled & the options/filters I had selected "No thanks" were enabled too.

Confirmed for both filters: social and spyware. Everything else is ok.

Next week, supposedly wednesday or thursday.

    Not much really.

Oh yeah, cutting costs by paying people for extra work to fix all the bugs found:)

Please don't be mad. That's just how I like to work: do not call it "release" until it is really stable and polished.
If you want to get a new version more often - welcome to beta testers.

Just remove the old entries. This bug was fixed long time ago, but the fix does nothing with the old entries which were already there.

RC2 running smooth as butter on my end after upgrading from RC1. I was fooled for a minute though, I sorta expected RC2 to be shown in the main UI. I was scratching my head, trying to figure out if it upgraded or not... haha!

I'm sure they have valid reasoning for their delays.

Since the majority here aren't in their shoes, I can't really say to hurry it up, as I have no clue what the project entails.

What I can say is, I am glad they're taking their time and keeping us posted frequently, as I want a solid, supported product for the money I spent.

We're all entitled to our own opinion and my opinion is as I stated above.

I am just inquisitive about this program, guys.
Can you add your own Ad blockers for specific sites like you can do with Adblock Plus?

There is a filter called "User Filter" which can be imported/exported. I think this is what you meant by adding your own blocks for specific sites? If not, please read on...

If, by some chance you were referring to something along the lines of allowing the actual lists of other blockers be inserted into other blocker apps... AdGuard provides a feature called "New Filter Subscription", where you can enter the URL or path of said filter...

So, to summarise; the first explanation caters for your custom rules, the second caters for filter lists from other blockers.

It looks like 6.0 is working better on https sites. I had problems with the https filter before and did not use it.
