Is it not possible to 'mount' the back up like with acronis? To look through it in an explorer way without restoring it
Thanks . Found it. Not as convenient as Acronis though where you can click the icon on the disk you back up to. You cannot back up email at the same time as the rest of the disk?
You mean, you can't alter the mounted disk? I think not. Well, you probably can but it won't be saved past the current session.
No I mean it is quicker to mount. you only have to click on the icon of the backed up file. I think a .tib file? When i try to back up email it finds windows mail which is not used but does not see thunderbird which is
Is Acronis running in the background, meaning it loads at boot up? I don't follow exactly how your backing up your email. You'd have to describe exactly how your doing this.
There are sector-based backups and file-based backups. When you select "Disk or Partitions", you select a sector-based backup. Everything that is included in the disk or partition will be included in the backup. When you select one of the other options, you only back up the files related to that option.

Check in the Thunderbird configuration where it is saving its files. I don“t have Thunderbird installed, so I am unable to give more details. In my case, I put the e-mail client files in the data partition, not in the OS one, so that I can back up them using a file synchronizer.
