AVs always remain sceptical about new AVs because there is no generic way to detect Fake AV/Scareware. I think Dr. Web blocked the download webpage, not quarantined the installer, although even the webpage seems to be clean. ~ Removed VirusTotal Linked Results as per Policy ~
Xvirus Personal Guard 5.4.1.0 - Added Dutch translation (thanks to @kev216) - Updated French translation - Fixed a bug with not adding task scheduler entry during setting reset - Improved scanner accuracy Download
Actually, it was not an action of the av but of windows. This is 8.1, on a Surface Pro. I was also trying to use the mirror site as I didn't want to use Softonic downloader.
Thats because it is not sign. I think you can click "more info" and click "run anyway" or something like that.
I decided to test it and seems there is a mistake in gui. In general setting under fileguard, The box when a threat is found has two decide automatically and no manual or user based decision. Please fix this. I am using it along with xvirus personal firewall free, emsisoft AM and secureaplus with offline AV and all seem to work fine
By the way The scan is extremely slow. I ran a system scan and after an hour only 1/5th of the system was scanned. I think it would have taken some 5 hours yo scan all or maybe more. You need to fix the scanners. It is unusable for now.
Xvirus Personal Guard 5.4.1.2 - Fixed a critical bug with loading the whitelist - The program sends anonymous information about detected threats (hash, file path and detection name) - Translation updates - Some buttons have been resized so the text can be shown fully in localized versions - Minor bug fixes and improvements Download
I detest .net -- it changes MUCH too often. Until I stopped running ANY .net-based apps, it seemed that every app I installed wanted yet a later version of .net. So I got the later version &, a few months later, installed an app that wanted still a later version. That ended .net-based stuff for me, I don't care how good it might be.

I just installed the latest version and have to agree about the scan speed. It shows 4000 files scanned in 10:22 min with one Reg key found to be a threat. Most likely a false positive. I can not even imagine how long a full scan would take. Otherwise I do like the GUI for the most part. Here is the key found.
