Good Morning! When logging on this morning windows action centre wasn't acknowledging Webroot was Active. So I guess we'll have to wait until Mozilla fixes this bug. And just when I thought Mozilla had there act together. Sincerely...Securon

    Hi Securon

I do not think that this has anything to do with Mozilla but rather Windows is 'having a turn'. An uninstall/clean reinstall of WSA should 'nudge' Windows in the right direction and so recognise that WSA is in residence.

    Regards
    , Baldrick

We have been seeing a few of these being reported this weekend, can you please Contact support and report it to them! Webroot Customer Service as the more info the better so they can work on tomorrow. Personally I haven't seen this happen on Win 10 x64 so it could be OS specific?

    Thanks,

    Daniel

Good Afternoon! Thanks Baldrick and Triple Helix. I suspect Windows as noted might have something do with this...in the meantime as noted by Triple Helix; I'll contact Customer Service...and wait for all and any Feedback! Sincerely...Securon

Good Evening! Update! Removed Firefox replaced with Google Chrome...when I rebooted Windows action centre Voila! shows that WSA is active and protecting my system. Haven't heard from back from Webroot...I'll be able to confirm after Logon tomorrow that it's Locked and Loaded! Stay Tuned, don't Touch those Settings! Sincerely...Securon

May I ask which OS and if it's 32bit or 64bit? That is very odd as I have Firefox 43.01 64bit, Chrome Version 47.0.2526.106 m (64-bit) and Cyberfox 64bit with no issues on Window 10 Enterprise 64 bit. And I have the Web Filter 1.2.0.27 installed in all Browsers even Cyberfox 64bit with a work around and the Password Manager in IE11, Firefox 43.01 64bit and Chrome Version 47.0.2526.106 m (64-bit). Thanks for your info!

    Cheers,

    Daniel

Good Evening! Daniel! I have Windows 7 32-bit. I've got to admit Google very responsive...and an absence of Flash Pop-Up's...although,because I don't have Ad-Blocker installed...I'm receiving an abundance of Ad's too be expected. Is there an Ad-Blocker app on Chrome? Thanks as always for your prompt feedback. Sincerely...Securon

Download uBlock Origin it's the best IMO! https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm?hl=en

A new Beta v9.0.7.47 is now out to Beta Testers and this version is to fix:

And if all goes well it could be released today to all consumers.

    Thanks,

    Daniel :)

Nothing for me on Chrome or Waterfox. Just says Bug fixes, but no content. Or is there supposed to be a list of bug fixes?

See here on how to manually install the Web Filter in Chrome: https://community.webroot.com/t5/We...ebroot-Extensions-in-google/m-p/218311#M13810 also Waterfox is not supported but there maybe a work around that some do for Palemoon and I do for Cyberfox: https://community.webroot.com/t5/We...-extension-in-Palemoon-Unofficial/ta-p/142217 and the Bug Fixes some had issues with WSA and UAC so that is fixed. It's also best to do a clean reinstall if you see or continue to see issues and that's for everyone as well!

Also Webroot doesn't give Details to all release notes as they don't want the malware writers to know all the changes and hardening.

    Please follow the steps closely!
    • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
    • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
    • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
    • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
    • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
    • Let it finish it's install scan
    • Reboot once again
    Thanks,

    Daniel :)

    Hi Daniel,

How do I get a key? I want to test your beta products. I've been using HitmanPro Alert exclusively for months, am very happy with it, but am very curious to try webfoot..

    Thanks for your assistance!!
