    Upgrading Tips:

To upgrade SpywareBlaster from a previous version you can either:
    (a) Download and install the new version of SpywareBlaster "over-the-top".
    (b) Uninstall the old version of SpywareBlaster first. Please see the detailed upgrade instructions here: http://www.brightfort.com/sbupdate.html

    Either method should work.

I installed 5.4 and WSA started to track it causing a lot of fragments in db.....db files that i had to delete. I submitted 5.4 to WSA to whitelist.

Thank you, jc! Will be upgrading a little later today. Look forward to it. :thumb:

Edit in: Went "over the top" on two 7x64 machines and, as usual, all went well. My thanks again for a very cool program.

When are Brightfort going to say what 'third party' software was causing SB not to recognise Mozilla Firefox prior to this latest release?
They did say in the other thread they knew what it was, and were going to name it, but they haven't and that other thread has been locked.

It's built to work alongside your existing security software as part of a layered protection strategy.
It doesn't slow down your machine or use up CPU cycles constantly running in the background.
It address and protects you against spyware, adware, malware, browser hijackers, and other security and privacy concerns in ways that other tools do not.

Or, to put it briefly, "yes".

Oh, and it's a free download.

hi i am facing a problem.

after installing SB 5.4, everything works out fine

however, the next time i started my computer, i was unable to stay logged in to chrome. i am logged in except when i am searching on google.

    is this a bug?

i have restored my pc and reinstalled chrome, before reinstalling sb. seems like sb is the problem.

    Any suggestions?
