I'm checking on it internally, in the meantime can you get one of them to contact Webroot Customer Service so they can gather some info?

    Thanks,

    Daniel

had a total of 18 more systems today with the uac maxed out and i know its webroot related because the systems that do not have it installed did not have this happen.

You are correct and Webroot is working on it and it has to do with the Web Filter of all things.

I use Internet Security Plus which I know includes the (LastPass) Password Manager, but I have disabled this add-on in Firefox. I'd rather use the native LastPass, which is already installed.
But if I re-run the LastPass installer now, I get a LastPass-branded panel that says 'Install Webroot' ...
I did not proceed because I am not sure if this would install a second separate Webroot version of LastPass.
This is a new phenomenon; I do not recall this happening before.

Sorry about that and you were the only one to report in public, there was none at the Webroot Community. Glad they fixed it fast! And personally I don't use UAC as I use VoodooShield.

Also with the release of Firefox 43 you will not be able to use the Password Manger and I'm sure Webroot is working on that. Now we know why Webroot and other AV's only support a couple of Browsers.

It set my UAC to max but after resetting it to default it stayed there.
My Webroot Filtering Extension is still at 1.2.0.24. Will wait for 27, or is there somewhere I can get it from now, for Firefox?

My Firefox 43 64-bit didn't like the Web Filter 1.2.0.27 update. I can't be 100% sure but my FF started crashed repeatedly after this, just disappeared - no upload to Mozilla dialog.
Disabling the add-on did not work, so uninstalled WSA but on reboot Webroot Installer (wruninstall.exe) was running at 25% CPU perhaps trying to reinstall the add-on?
Restored image pre-1.2.0.27, disconnected from internet, repeated uninstall of WSA. Incidentally c:\program files (x86)\common files\wruninstall.exe remains on the system.
No problems with FF 43 64-bit since.
Probably overkill to have EAM and WSA (though the authors of each maintain each will work with the other), so will ditch WSA for now on my Win 8.1 machine, especially as I have several other issues with WSA (mostly WRData, but also Identity Shield, incompatibility with HMPA keystroke encryption and FF add-ons, web shield FPs, too many lptemp language files).
It is probably an incompatibilty with other another security app (HMPA?) as I have not had the same problem on my Win 7 machine, which has EIS and WSA (and no HMPA, but does have MBAE).
Still like WSA though, but wish they could improve the WRData monitoring db cleanup; 35 days left on my 5 device Internet Security Plus, will probably downgrade to 1 AV only license.

Webroot is aware of the issues with the new Firefox 43 & 43.0.1 both 32bit & 64bit and it's even affecting Mac's users of WSA & Firefox 43 so they are working with Mozilla to get things back on track. And with the new Web Filter 1.2.0.27 should of fixed the issues with UAC. If issues continue please Submit a Support Ticket and they will gather more info and help you.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

I do not use FF or Mac or the Web Filter Extension but still get the UAC after boot.
