ETA for release is still 2 weeks, but not yet RC. RC is something that is 100% ready for release (this is candidate for release you know), but current version has some known bugs we want to fix. Nothing major, but still.
Check the count of Adguard.exe processes. There is a bug with update procedure: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/issues/539
What message? How does it looks like? I'd like to get the logs from %windir%\temp folder (all files starting from Adguard_ prefix)
Now if I remove the program all together and hit install everything is peachy...but I lose all my settings
no problem here, update over the previous one flawlessly, very good job, thank you. Windows 7_x64 user. rules.
side note..if i use the internal update feature..acts like its updating closes and then nothing! have to start it from start/programs and hit the name and opens back up in the task bar and no update later version
Logs are here: %windir%\Temp Please check that directory, maybe logs are still there. I need all files starting from "Adguard" prefix.
Installed again! I have one db file in the ApGuard folder its 'default'.db you want that one? still will not connect to server!!
OK un-installed build 609 and went backwards to BETA version 580 and all is working like a champ...connected to server right off So... 609 BETA something dont jive for me??
If you're on Beta channel then you can update via About. JFYI, you may encounter two Adguard applications after update, so remove the older one via Programs and retain .609. There is a bug (in .609) causing the previous build isn't removed.
I had to uninstall the latest beta because it wouldn't allow me to install any extension in chrome, as soon as I uninstalled it everything installed fine again
