    I am back in my SAP snapshot, after a week , but nothing seems to be happening with the beta...very quiet.

    Still have a problem logging into the portal in one version of Opera, i.e v12.15, but not in the other, v11.64....Very strange....I haven't figured it out.

    I downloaded and installed Opera 12.15 but unable to reproduce the blank page issue. Does it happen every time your open the portal or intermittent?

    I am not in my SAP snapshot for the moment, but when I am in it, I still have the problem. So, it is not intermittent.

    We have just released SecureAPlus v3.4.5 and SecureAPlus Beta v4.1.2.
    In the previous version (SecureAPlus v3.4.4 and SecureAPlus Beta v4.1.1), some users reported to us that there was incompatibility issue with other third party shell extensions, which caused Windows Explorer crashes.
    The release of this version is to fix the issue.

    I've been testing this out for some time now and I must say, this software has surely been improved.

    Liking everything so far.

    What is everyone's thoughts about this configuration?

    If there is anything worth changing, please let me know.

    • Lockdown enabled all the time, Interactive mode only allowed after a download has been scanned and cleared.
    • App Settings \ Application Whitelisting \ Advanced Settings \ Trusted Certificates - All certificates removed
    • App Settings \ Application Whitelisting \ Advanced Mode - "Trust based on digital signature" disabled/unchecked
    • App Settings \ Scan Settings - "Enable Offline Antivirus" disabled/unchecked (Disabled because it uses too much memory)

    That's how I have mine minus removing Trusted Certificates

    Good, then that's the way I'll keep it then.

    I remove the trusted certificates, so it can auto populate the ones I need for my installed software and not a whole list of pre configured ones.

    It seems to be a screen resolution problem. Screens with a height of 768p or lower may exhibit the problem, more so on screens with 720p and below.

    We are pleased to announce the release of SecureAPlus Beta v4.1.3.

    In this version we are introducing a new Application Whitelisting dialog prompt when user is running an untrusted application.
    It shows VirusTotal and Universal AV scan result for the new file. If the has not been in VirusTotal or Universal AV yet, user has an option to send the file for scanning.
    There is also a new context menu when user right click on the untrusted file name or the process name.

    For manual scanner (right click, scan, at Windows Explorer), now it has an option for user to scan any type of files.

    We have fixed the issue where some buttons in the main console's menu bar were covered in 1280x720 screen resolution.

    We have just recently released an update (Beta 4.1.3) that marks the 2nd round of our testing. The biggest addition to this round is that you can finally get the newer notifications for Application Whitelisting prompts.

    Other notification prompts will get the updated treatment in the near future via incremental updates. So stay tuned!

    We are pleased to announce the release of SecureAPlus v3.5.0.

    Here are some highlights of the changes that were made:
    - In the previous release, some users still reported that they received a lot of prompting after upgrading to Windows 10. We may have found the cause of this issue, and fixed in this version.
    - We are also trying to improve how it works with Windows Defender in Windows 10. When the offline antivirus from SecureAPlus is disabled, it will automatically change the setting to allow Windows Defender to take over the offline AntiVirus role.
    - ClamAV engine is upgraded to version 0.99

    There is a software update issue in SecureAPlus v3.5.0 under 64-bit OS. We have released SecureAPlus v3.5.1 to fix this issue.

    For 64-bit OS users with SecureAplus v3.5.0 installed, since the problem is also effecting the software auto update feature, to upgrade to version 3.5.1, simply install SecureAPlus version 3.5.1 on top of the existing SecureAPlus. Uninstallation is not required.

    I can't remember if i've asked this before... is there a way to view the whitelist and add/remove things from the whitelist?

    For non-enterprise users, currently we only provide a way to view the whitelist from certain drives or folders. To do this, right click on the folder or drive letter that you want to check, and click on "Show all trust level"

    Currently the list is for read only, may be in the future we will improve this so users can modify the trust level from the list.
