BTW, I noticed that my sandboxed folders are quite big in size, even though I haven't actually installed that many apps. I've got 10 folders (sandboxes) with a size of 9.81 GB. Does this sound familiar?

Good news, Steam seems to work OK, games are also installed correctly, I have so far tried the demo of PES 2016. I still need to check out Origin. BTW, if you buy and download a game, can you also install it outside of Steam, or do you need to buy the DVD ROM for that?

Can't answer that as the only game I use is Train Simulator, and I have the steam version. Works fine

Neither Opera 33 nor Vivaldi have been able to work Sandboxed since Emsisoft's latest update yesterday.
I don't know whether it has a link with Wednesday's Windows Updates (everything had worked smoothly until EAM 11 installed).
Disabling EAM's protection does not make any difference.

I have to say IE and Opera 12.17 can still work sandboxed.

Here is what I see :

I usually don't save contents for any sandbox, most of the time my sandboxes get deleted after closing any program that I run sandboxed. And usually, I dont keep any sandboxed installation for more that a few hours. Thats my normal case use. At this time, in one computers in which that is exactly the case, the size of the Sandbox folder is 124 bytes when not running anything sandboxed. In my other computer in which I have had Media player classic installed for about three weeks, the folder size is just under 100 MB. :)

I read another post a couple of days ago about another user using Emsisoft along Sandboxie who reported a problem running Chrome after an antivirus update. Perhaps something that got updated in the AV is breaking running Chrome family browsers under SBIE. Unfortunately, disabling EAM is not enough. I think you ll have to uninstall Emsisoft to be certain whether or not thats where the conflict is coming from. I see you found the thread at the SBIE forum but I ll put the link here for other Wilders members that might like to follow it up.:)

Actually the issue does come from EAM. Uninstalling the latter solved everything, and the issue occured again after reinstalling EAM. I'll contact them then. Thanks ;)

Seriously? Funny how we seem to use SBIE in a different way, I often install apps for testing, and I don't always remove them right away. But now I need space on my SSD, and I noticed that my sandboxed folders are bigger than expected. Of course I do transfer downloaded files to my "real system" almost everyday. I use MyFolders for this, and for checking diskspace I use WizTree.

LOL, you should start to play more games. :D

But I know how you feel, I'm mostly playing older games, newer isn't always better. But I wanted to check out if my new PC can handle the latest games.

BTW, I've noticed something, every time when I install Process Lasso inside the sandbox, there seems to be a new Power Plan added to "Power Options", can someone check this out?

Yes, I am serious:). I rarely test new programs, sandboxed or not, so for me there is no reason to save contents. Most of the programs that I install sandboxed I do out of curiosity and I do after someone reports not being able to install it sandboxed. Like when you reported in the past, having issues installing Chrome or Operas old and new version with the Chrome engine.

I think being able to use Sandboxie for so many things and in so many ways is one of the things that makes it a great program. I mean, if you think about using Sandboxie for something, it probably can be done. You think about it, you ll do it. The only purpose that some people use Sandboxie for that I think is a bad idea is when they use it for figuring out if a program they install in a sandbox is clean or not. But other than that, all the different ways people use SBIE is just great.

I think for security, deleting the sandbox is very important and in your case, space is as well, perhaps you should delete some of your old sandboxes that are getting heavy and reinstall the program sandboxed again if you want.

5.0 runs smoothly for me as well, even with the Block Process Access addon...
