I got only 25 (15 of them for Office 2010 so 10 only for Windows 7 SP1).

In the first cumulative update for the new version, it’s interesting to see that Microsoft now refers the operating system as “Windows 10 Version 1511”, instead of simply calling it: Windows 10. Also, users will note that the build number for the operating system has jumped from build 10586.3 to build 10586.11, which happens to align with the build number of Windows 10 Mobile that the company released to the Fast ring.

The obvious question that comes to everyone's mind when hearing that a new update is available for Windows 10 is “so, what's new?” but as usual, there's still no answer to this.

Microsoft releases Windows updates much faster than before, which is indeed a really good thing, given the fact that some bugs need to be fixed as soon as possible, but the company no longer provides change logs for them.

In other words, we have the patches, but we don't know what they bring new.

In case you're wondering how come Microsoft no longer provides us with release notes for these updates, it's because the company only wants to do so for more important patches, so unless there's something really worth mentioning in an update, we get absolutely no information.

This does make sense at some level, but users have been asking for update details for months, so if the company is indeed listening to the community (as it claims), then expect a change to take place very soon. Enterprise customers should start getting release notes this year, but a decision in the case of consumers is yet to be made.
