Looking for a software that will help me find out what software is creating hundreds of empty folders in the temp folder. The created folders have (****-****) the * are random numbers with a dash between. Avast won't let me download anything from Nirsoft without disabling it. Thanks rrrh1
Excellent idea. You can set a filter that has the "Path" you wanted (where the folders are created) and another one with "Category" set to Write. Then you wait. Alternatively, you could disable Avast while you download the tool you want from Nirsoft and then add the folder where you put that tool to the exclusion list in Avast.
