    Hi,

Sorry for the delay in my reply. It works perfectly fine with other AVs, so there will be no problem, it will only add additional layers of security, so you are all set!
Yup you may use the lifetime license key you were provided with.

It's in beta so we will fix this, thank you.

Thank you, it will that is why it's only in Beta :)

    You are welcome!

We will fix this as well and make it auto-update. That is why it's only in Beta so you guys can tell us what to improve, add and so on.

My real name is Ida, not Aida :)

    Regards,

    Ida

I have the latest (2.17.1.839) ZAM portable version.
I want to know how many services are running in ZAM normal version and the RAM consumption for each one.

Can somebody post i.e. a screenshot from the Windows Task Manager?

Good to hear ! Thank you IDDAAAA.... .

But it is to early to use if it works as someone mentioned that it just takes a file away that it sees as infected without user input or ability to recover that file. That makes it a dangerous software !

    You are very welcome!

It's not a dangerous software by any means. Sorry but how is it dangerous? It keeps the bad guys out! If our scanner sees it as infected indeed, then the best thing would to remove it, right? But I get your point, if it is a FP you definitely want to report it as one.

My point overall: if a file is malicious why would you want it in your PC anyways? To look back it, and be... oh I see this bad boy infected me :) Remove the bad files, no need to look back at them and keep them :) Unless it's a FP. But we are working on making ZAM the best possible solution out there, since its only in BETA, I suggest you hold your horses. Cut us some slack. :) Our dev team is working around the clock, and they are really hard-working guys.

    You are welcome :)

It has already been stated that this is not a "feature" and will be corrected as the software is improved.

Just installed the new version with realtime protection; it has quarantine possibility contrary to former information in the thread.
After installation it updated the definitions so it is not all about the cloud obviously so the question becomes - how often does it update them ? Anyone knows ?

There's no ignore option. Often I don't want to quarantine or delete found items.

ZAM 2.17.839.0 kept crashing after detecting infected items (tried many times & even disabled other security software)

Tried deactivating Real Time Protection & Pandora Real Time Analysis, but still encountered the same error.

    Bug reports submitted.

Before.jpg was the screenshot just before the crash.

Update: Uninstalling & reinstalling ZAM 2.17.839.0 again, didn't work.
Uninstalling ZAM 2.17.839.0 & reinstalling ZAM 2.17.1.116 solved the issue.

Like the developers said it monitors on-execution, meaning you'll need to open those executables for ZAM to see it.

I knew something was off especially when i checked security & it did not even mention anything about 2 av's active left me thinking. Security Center does not even acknowledge that it is active.

Edit: That was Win 8.1. On Win 7 deep scan just hangs after a while.

Hmm then either something is wrong with the software/configuration/system, or ZAM just doesn't detect those files.

Have you tried manually scanning them?

It detects them when I manually scan, but not when I download and open them.

    @ Emre, @ Ida,
    I can replicate the issue.
