I have a 223gb and a 931gb drive that I am trying to back up to a 4gb external drive formatted in GPT. The back up keeps failing and giving me the error: Paragon Back up 14 Free Ver VSS Error not enough disk space. This is a win 7 ultimate box and a blank 4tb drive. Please advise. Thanks!
You can either increase the free space in the drives and try again, or build a boot USB Flash Drive and back up from it.
Thanks! How would would I go about doing this "increase the free space in the drives" and is this the 223gb and a 931gb that I am increasing the size of?
Ok follow all the instructions there to set things to Hot Processing. Still the same error "VSS Error not enough disk space." Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks!
I am trying to back up Hard Disk 0 and Hard Disk 1 to Hard Diask 2. I am not sure what PB and PVHD Format are
I have been using Paragon Back up for many years now....The only thing that has changed is this new 4TB external drive that I am attempting to back up on and its telling me its full when its empty
IMHO, the drive capacity is not the only change from the previous years. Now it has the GPT and possibly other cluster size.
see the logs can be there any clue? Unfortunately now I don't have USB-drive to reproduce the situation. but I'm curious to understand what is happening.
The strange thing is yesterday...( I needed to get this PC backed up) I tried another popular brand back up software...and it worked.. Strange.....BUT I like Paragon better...
