I think there is an incompatibility between HMPA v3.1 and Agnitum Outpost Security Suite v9.2. I'm getting black screen after the Windows Logo appears, right before the login screen. No problem with HMPA v3.0.

    HMPA v3.0 + w/ OSS v9.2 = No problem
    HMPA v3.1 + w/ OSS v9.2 = Blank screen
    HMPA v3.1 + w/o OSS v9.2 = No problem

    W7-x64 Professional, Installed 3.1 build 318 over 3.0 build 202,
Dead characters in keystroke encryption ( " ^ ' ) are now indeed fixed!
    No other issues so far!

Win10x64 Pro, HMPA 3.1 b318, under exploit mitigation, running applications, I am seeing MS Edge and FF 41.0.1 under the "not protected" column when running. I just checked IE 11 and VLC and they do the same. Office apps appear under the protected column. Not sure what is happening, I installed over 3.0 196.

Try resetting the setting via the gear icon at the top right in the GUI.

No, that did not change anything. I did experiment and found that running the apps (excluding Edge) unsandboxed by Sandboxie v5.04 causes them to appear in the protected column. Edge cannot be sandboxed so that's not the problem there. Is there a conflict with Sandboxie? I've never noticed before but then I don't check things carefully unless using beta versions.

    Hello focus,
FWIW. Firefox 41.0.1 sandboxed is showing under Protected applications for me. 318 + W8.1 + v5.04
I may have opened FF with 318 before sandbox'd

Okay, sorry. Guess, I'm not adding any value as I'm W8.1 and only Protected is Firefox sandbox'd.

I have the latest stable Zemana Anti-Logger Free installed on PC.
My keyboard is not working correctly in Chrome v45 and IE v11 browsers with HPA@default settings.
It is accepting space, enter, backspace, arrow keys but not letters and numbers.
I can temporarily solve this by turning off "Keystroke encryption" feature either in HP or ZAL.

Office and other Windows apps show no such behavior.
    Is this collision known/expected?

Oh for goodness sake. Reference the extreme problems I was having with Sandboxie and HMPA as in post #6506 with the software compatibility switch. So today, as an experiment, I turned the Sandboxie software compatibility for HMPA back on and now all Sandboxied programs are protected again with no instability at this point. Edge is still showing as not protected.

Do you have the software compatibility switch for HMPA on? I'm on W10.

    Yes, I have the [+]. I'm aware that [+] opens a hole.
But, this hole is for as I want.
I opened Notepad sandbox'd and that goes to Running Protected.
and KeePass shows under Running Protected when I Untray KeePass.
Interesting how Firefox and Notepad show under Running Protected when minimized. But, KeePass (Other) needs to be in view to show under Running Protected.

Had the same problem as you with Edge. Uninstalling, restarting laptop and reinstalling HmP.Alert solved it for me. See post #6933.

Alert only performs keystroke encryption in browsers and chat apps (applications assigned to Other template). That is why it conflicts in browsers and not in others.

Thanks, I'll give this a try.

Later: That worked, Edge is now protected. Thanks again.
