    2. Reboot
    3. Install 3.1
    4. Program opens after install
    5. Reboot
    6. Blank screen

No issues with 316 on Win 8.1.
I'm sure this has been answered before somewhere in this thread, but if I want to revert to RC version, must I uninstall beta first, or can I install RC version over the top?

I always upgrade on top, but if I want to go back I uninstall. Don't know how really necessary it is.

BTW, wasn't sure, but beta 316 seems fine here.

Upgrades are always to higher build numbers. Downgrading to older builds are not supported. So if you want to run a lower build, uninstall, reboot and install the older build.

Keystroke issue with so-called dead characters confirmed in build 316. Expect a fix soon.

Today Firefox 41.0 could not start with all (build 316) mitigations enabled. That combination worked fine yesterday. I'm not aware of any changes to my (Windows 10 x64) system...

Hitman Pro Alert and Pale Moon Browser

Am using Pale Moon 25.7.0 (x64) and HMPA 3.0.48 build 196. Whilst HMPA says it is protecting Pale Moon and shows all the options for Pale Moon in Settings, I am not getting a notification when Pale Moon starts and no border or Keyboard encryption symbol. HMPA shows all of these in Internet Explorer when I tried this for a test.

Any ideas what's wrong with Pale Moon?

    Thanks

    John

If you disable mitigations on Firefox does it start?

    Erik,
I have been losing internet connection on my machines with Norton Security installed, but not my Win10 with Windows Defender. Is it possible HMP.A is conflicting with Norton some how?
    Thanks.

Hi, I recently installed Hitman Pro Alert. Now it is telling me in Firefox "Intruder detected! Do not enter personal data or bank online." However, after running the program scan, it found nothing but some tracking cookies. Any suggestions on what to do?

I think more detailed information is needed:
Which versions of HitmanPro.Alert, HitmanPro, Firefox and OS (W7, W8, Win10) are you using?
Can you attach a screenshot of the Firefox message "Intruder detected". Is the 'Intruder' identified, has it a name?

I used Windows snipping tool and screenshotted the message from the lower right corner of Firefox. Hitman Pro Alert 3.0.45 build 193. Windows 8.1. Firefox 40.0.3, about to update to Firefox 41.0. I think I only have Hitman Pro alert and not Hitman Pro. Are they separate programs?

Also, everytime I launch Firefox, Hitman Pro.Alert gives me this big message across my screen about Intruder Alert, asks me if I want to scan with Hitman Pro, and there is a button to click for technical details. When I click that, it shows me a huge list of files and code ( I guess it is code.)

And no, the intruder does not seem to be indentified but I am putting another snip here of the technical details section. http://imgur.com/NvNY5Iw

As the alert message indicates, critical functions of the browser are redirected and manipulated.
What other security software do you have installed on your machine? Is it just Bitdefender or also others? What version?

I had no other security software installed at the time of the message, but since receiving it, I installed Malwarebytes, which found nothing.
If it matters, I installed a couple Firefox addons a couple days ago. Ad Nauseam, Adblock Edge, and Trackmenot.

HitmanPro.Alert and HitmanPro are 2 different programs but HitmanPro.Alert needs HitmanPro for the scans.
With only ONE license you can use BOTH programs.
For the latest versions see: http://www.surfright.nl/en/downloads/

Thanks for the download links. The reason I have Hitman Alert to begin with is that I tried their Firefox addon called cycson phishing protection, then I saw they offer other software. So far, I have been impressed with their stuff.

Sorry, which FF extension? Do you have a link?

    Thanks.
