I had been considering buying a new router recently, but have hesitated because I didn't feel it would really be an upgrade over what I have now. However, this sort of thing has me wondering if I should get it anyway, while "unlockable" routers are still available at reasonable prices. Who cares what the FCC says? I don't use unauthorized channels, and I actually turn my transmit power down to limit its range and reduce the amount of radiation (just in case those health questions have some validity).
I also consider to change router, but I don't know which choose: Net Gear, Linksys, D-Link... In last years appeared vulnerabilities for all them, and other too.
