I was looking at Avant Browser, thinking of trying it. The Service agreement says it saves bookmarks and passwords. The saving passwords part scares me. I would also like to ask where and who is the creator of Avant. I would appreciate any opinions and experiences you may have had using it as well. Any red flags? Thanks in advance for any insight.
It saves the password in the cloud I assume, it's a feature. It's a browser that has been around for quite some time, just like Maxthon. The newer versions have never worked correctly and smoothly for me, and I would personally stay away from all of these Chinese browsers.
Another Chinese browser? I'm trying to get rid of Maxthon which I only use occasionally if I have a problem on FF. I can see if the problem is the browser or the link if I check it on Maxthon. My Malwarebytes occasionally catches malware coming from Maxthon so I'm looking for a replacement non Chinese. Thanks Rasheed for your response.
