The giveaway is the latest version. (v4.6.0.0)
Once you have downloaded it, you can install it at any given time (on any computer), with the giveaway serial number, in the .txt file.
Be cautious with the installer, it seemed to run google analytics report sender (GASender.exe) after the installation, I just blocked it with firewall..
Seems like the installer also drops the file+it's dll file in the program installation directory.
You can just block them with your firewall,or delete them.

So basically it drops PUP's. No thanks.

It was just a heads-up to let you people know what it does.
Nothing other harmful than the google thing.
Many giveaways drop unwanted stuff on your computer, that's why it's always good to monitor the installations with software like Chemtable Soft Organizer/Martau Total Uninstall, or try them out first with Shadow Defender ON, or such.

    EDIT:
Actually that PUP is also on the installer file you get from Auslogics web-page..
The serial key works for it too, the installer file is the same.

    Is GASender.exe a PUP?

None of the 54 anti-virus programs at VirusTotal detected the GASender.exe file.

    GASender.exe
    Google Analytics Sender

    That should speak for itself.
If you consider Google spying on you, not being a PUP, then it's not. :p

Basically, anything "extra" not related to the actual program which you're installing, is a Potentially Unwanted Program.
It doesn't have to be malicious, but it can still be PUP,
I guess in the end, it's up to the user if it's a PUP or not.

Found these two items myself upon installation. I like the program reasonably well (nothing spectacular), but I uninstalled and went back to PerfectDisk.

Interestingly, when I deleted GAsender and the .dll file, my license key stopped working...

I got it from a different giveaway and that one listed 1-year license but nobody could clarify if that meant upgrades for 1 year or it actually quit working after 1 year.

I installed it. The customisation/control looked promising but fell short in that it didn't provide that much in that regard. Auslogics comes with bad juju with me (too much hype, pushy, reg cleaner way to aggressive/sloppy, fake giveaways) and now potential spyware bloat.

MyDefrag remains (free, total control w/scripting).

I would argue that rather than buy a defragmenter, buy an SSD!

That's odd, cause mine is still registered.
The first thing what I did, was to delete those two files belonging to google...
    Did you do update check+update?
Usually, giveaways can't be updated, if you do, they turn into a trial.
