Since reporting earlier, I have run into further problems, after rebooting the snapshot that has HMP.A installed, I can no longer open any of my browsers, or any other application. START > Run does nothing.

Thankfully, I could get into another of my snapshots, otherwise I wouldn't be able to post here.

After my problems with Kaspersky 2016 & HMPA I uninstalled Kaspersky to see if I had any problems with starting Chrome. Last night I tried the new beta Erik posted and reinstalled Kaspersky 2016 again, to see if the conflict was resolved. Upon restarting my computer, win 10 64-bit crashed to a BSOD on startup (error thread exception, immediately after the BIOS Screen). So, I'm currently reinstalling Windows (8, 8.1 then 10, no installation medium for 10... :( ) on my computer from scratch and will not be using Kaspersky and HMPA at the same time anymore.

What version of Alert are you using and what message do you get?

I went back into safe mode and successfully restored to previous HMP.A v3.0 build 196.

The problem with opening any app is still there after the boot back into normal mode...I could only get a response with Win key + L and then re-entering my login password which then proceeded to show the following as per the screenshots. Not much help.

I just discovered what I would call an adverse effect on my system with beta build 312. On boot up the normal time from when the microsoft scrolling bar disappears until I see the windows log in screen is about 5 seconds. With beta build 312 that increased to 1 minute 40 seconds. That is a wow increase. Uninstalling 312 and install Build 199 and everything was back to normal.

Coincidentally, I just saw this as well in a VM. I will see if I can find the culprit. Thanks for reporting!

Yes, I've been seeing a similar huge delay since updating to .312 (from .310), and was just giving it a couple of days to settle down, or hear of similar reports.

No, I'm running WSA Complete (9.0.3.38 beta), and ESET 9 beta (just AV) also. The difference was obvious on updating to .312. I could experiment a little to try and identify any culprit perhaps, and I'd be surprised if others aren't seeing a similar issue. This is Windows 7 32-bit.

    Thanks

Exploit Mitigation > Running Applications > Click anything under "Not Protected" > Don't click anything more, window will start flickering subtly every few seconds. Don't know if it happens in any other windows, just noticed it clearly there. Tried to record it but it didn't show up on recording.

@erikloman Wow! Thanks very much. Build .314 totally fixes the bootup slowdown I was seeing :thumb: And I've rebooted a couple of times to check. That's the quickest fix I've ever seen! Have a nice weekend over there, cheers. :)

Can the keyboard encryption of HPA and Zemana AntiLogger Free coexist without conflict?

Edit: From my testing it seems they can but I don't know what the end result is, is it encrypted twice? Does one take the priority and the other doesn't do anything? I noticed that neither encrypts what you type into Windows 10 search, perhaps that's not possible?

Boot slowdown fixed with build 314, on my office PC (see signature)
(didn't notice the slowdown, because I usually do not shutdown, but standby)

You are still notorious in running outdated OS and quadruple security, or even more, at the same time,
    and complain about issues.

I have to agree. Running so many security programs you would have to expect compatibility problems.

Still not added Microsoft Edge with build 314 beta. I use a local account. Could that be it?

I had to open Edge before it was added.
