AWESOME i wish they would do that here in the usa and do it EVERYWHERE not just in museums. i cant stand when im standing in line or something somewhere and see people doing this and im directly in the backround of their pictures... very annoying. and here i see people using them all the time while driving now, like at a red light ill see the stick go out the window and they are snapping selfies and i have to start beeping at them to get them to pay attention that the light changed.
There was a show on TV that talked about how "useful" these sticks are when you want to take a "groupie".....
C'mon now...show some respect: everyone knows the universe revolves around those privileged enough to own something called a "selfie[-important]-stick"!
True, might as well ban the source: narcissism. The only reason I got a selfie stick is because it came with a tripod, guess I can't use that even though it's setup completely differently from the usual selfie stick. Instead of banning something obviously legal, we should ban the behaviour that leads to these incidents. Or might as well blanket ban anything that could cause such incidents.
our waterpark finally banned these things. so sick of being in a raft with 3 other people going down the slide and they have these stupid things out even after being asked not to bring it on the ride and now im in their video going down the slide. did i ask to be videotaped..no. do i want to be...no. i nicely asked the guy not to tape me or my daughter or wife because they did not want to be. even said please and all he did was flip me off. while i agree its not directly the device its what people think they should be allowed to do with it that makes so many people hate them.
