Ive had linux mint rafaela 17.2 on desktop pc for a while now dual booting with win7.Recently I wiped my laptop of windows and put the same on there mint rafaela 17.2.Terminal command more /etc/*-release shows same on desktop and laptop. However when i open software manager the icons are different on each machine?.For example on desktop pc office icon shows a typewriter, whereas on laptop it shows a graph. Both machines are using void theme. Also featured packages differ in number?.Why these discrepancies between the two?.I also have claws mail installed on both machines .Im pretty sure i downloaded both through the software manager ,but on laptop the version is 3.9.3 ,whereas the desktop pc version shows 3.11.1.?

If you check the set of icons used by each installation, are they the same?
Open the Control Center, Appearance, Theme, Icons.
(Well at least that's what I think it says in english, using the french locale here)
