No, that's a General Release, but it usually may take a few days to roll out everywhere. In the meantime, if you wish you can install 'on top' or clean, with the installer: http://anywhere.webrootcloudav.com/zerol/wsainstall.exe

Just updated manually to v9.0.3.37. Works fine, but I'm wondering what the UI enhancements are that are mentioned in the changelog?

Regarding the UI I notice that whenever I change the status of an app in Identity Protection/Application Protection the list jumps to the top entry (this has been the case for a long time and not peculiar to this specific build). This happens in PC Security-Block/Allow Files as well. It would be nice if the list did not scroll after making a change. More generally it would help a lot if the window was resizable to make it easier to view/find entries.

Updated Web Filtering settings and block page. What exactly does that mean. Is that done in the cloud or local.

Right clicking on the WSA tray icon and selecting "check for updates" always reports that "you are currently using the latest version of the software" regardless. In other words it doesn't actually check, so it's not clear why it's a menu option.

I have 128 days left on my key code but just bought a 1 year subscription from NewEgg, if I enter the NewEgg key will I lose my 128 days I have left?

I've used WSA and liked it but the WRData folder size was a bit of a pain. Has there been any change on that issue, or perhaps any plans to change its inner workings to avoid this?

My guess is the 128 days won't be lost, but your new subscription will have 365 days, not 493. The old keycode could be used on another PC, but the 128 days key would still be counting down, whether activated elsewhere or not.

Why not just wait to use the key when your 128 days are up? I got 2 keys from newegg, and I've been holding them till my ESET keys expire in October.

I just delete the big file in wrdata that is tracking a new app that is not white listed and let WSA know that the exe should be whitelisted.

Yes, but this routine is exactly the problem. I remember this being reported as to be dealt with since 2013.

Also, letting WSA know (the software) is not enough, Webroot support needs to be contacted and whitelist the files - every time they are updated (or when the folder grows huge again).

IIRC, they are working on new method to track software and will unveil it soon. Hopefully this brings "cleanup" to the tracking too :)

Hopefully - I have been through countless iterations of whitelisting, and I have to continually monitor WRData ... already at 1GB a week after the last whitelist/reinstall.

Does the Filtering Extension version number 1.2.0.9 change with Version 9.0.3.37 (Released September 9th, 2015)...?
I mean since Version 9.0.3.37 Updated Web Filtering settings and block page.
Does the Filtering Extension version number change. I'm still at 9.0.2.21 and 1.2.0.9. So, before I manually update to 9.0.3.37 I'd like to know if I should look for a change to Filtering Extension version number 1.2.0.9.
    TIA

I'm on 9:0:3:37 on my non-beta machine and Web Filtering Extension 1.2.0.9 works fine. No change to web filtering extension version. Just more control in Advanced Settings.

Sometimes when i install a new version of the Maxthon Browser, WSA starts to track it whenever i use it and the dbxxxxxdb file gets big and highly fragmented. The file size does not bother me as much as the hundreds or thousands of file fragments that i have to defrag all day long with defraggler. Now i just delete the file instead of defraging it.

Does changing the status from "monitored" to "allowed" in the Active Processes list stop DB file problem?

I have done that and changed to allow but it never stopped the tracking and the constant increasing size and fragments of the tracking file.

No it doesn't. The best way is to submit a support ticket to get your files whitelisted.
