    Hi,
When restoring to an early date, should I uninstall Tiny Wall or just leave it in 'normal' mode? Or put it in 'Learning' mode? What about changing to WIN 10, let it stay in 'normal'? Since Tiny Wall blocks everything I thought it might get in the way when making changes.

    :)

Keep TinyWall when doing a system restore.

    Regarding "upgrading" to Windows 10:

I don't really know. You have been using TinyWall quite a long time if I remember right. So you should not really even think about such thing as Autolearn. You have your rules made up for the programs you use. If that list is long, how to find out some unnecessary allowances made when running in that Autolearn mode? And it doesn't learn such things as like when some service is using svchost.exe.

    EDIT:
I shut down my router and removed the Application exceptions and unchecked the Special Exceptions, changed TW into Autolearn mode and then checked this thing you asked. Tinywall makes a rule Allow everything into both incoming and outgoing connections into Windows firewall. So it with these rules disables Windows firewall effectively but keeps it running.
