As you can guess from the title, I've just managed to accidentally format and creat a new partition on a Western Digital Red 3 TB drive.Of course it was the one with ALL my data on it and the one which I was just about to back up to the non-formatted one. There were two identical drives ( both in IcyBox USB3 housings ) attached to my laptop. An in a rush, I formatted the wrong one. Since then, all I've done is a quick check on what is recoverable, using Easus Data Recovery Wizard Professional. I’ve not written anything to the disk and there seems to be a lot of files still present. Is there anything in the Paragon suite that I can use to unformat – un partition the drive, to go back in time and recover it back to its original state ie: with all the data, as it was. I’d much rather use the same Paragon software if I can. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
You can try "Undelete partition", but I think it won´t work, since you created a new partition after deleting the original. Possibly the program won´t find any deleted partition to undelete.
You could try Test Disk partition and Data Recovery which is free: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk.
