    Did you manually change your DNS after uninstalling heimdal?

    I think Heimdal change the DNS to 127.0.0.1

    Heimdal changes the DNS entries in your LAN adapter to 127.0.0.1 and then filters the malicious websites. I think after uninstallation (or being stopped/disabled), you need to to change these back to the DNS you prefer to use manually.

    Pity - the site still shows the offer but they must have pulled that voucher code yesterday. I think they should reconsider the USD44 (EUR34) price point, too steep without a discount offer - especially for us in the third world :).
    Try 'vaccine' voucher mentioned earlier in this thread - still gives 70% off here ...

    We're sorry about these issues, but Heimdal PRO is not yet fully compatible with Win 10. We will release a second version of the product later this year which will be fully compatible. For any issues you encounter, do email my colleagues at support@heimdalsecurity.com and we'll find a way to help you fix your problems.

    Good to know, I had some problems using Heimdal PRO in Windows 10 (slow bootup, no green icon after a restart ...)

    Well I gave it a spin and liked what I saw. Main thing I tested was can I do a complete uninstall and not have do anything special to carry on. Test was successful so I purchased the family pack. With the vaccine coupon it was a good deal.

    FWIW, I ran a 30-day trial of Heimdal Pro on Windows 10 build 10240 with no issues.

    Hi there,

    My answer to this issue probably got lost in the thread, but it's important to know that Heimdal PRO is not yet fully compatible with Windows 10. For some users it works, but for others it doesn't. We're working on ensuring full compatibility and will post the news as soon as this happens.
