    The SHA-256 hash is bfd569a8b03bbccdd8607bc918043a9f238edb2a1d3239f9b422c64efaec19ac.

Kapersky (now?) lists it as "not-a-virus:AdWare.Win32.OpenCandy.ae, which seems to be right. 13/55 detections on ~ Removed VirusTotal Results as per Policy ~ .

Still I would like to ignore that for every run instead of just the one that just finished.

I am also having the cloud 'upload failed' issue.
I've tried several times today over several hours... no change.
    Is this just meo_O?

Windows XP SP3, Hitman pro 3.7.9 Build 242.

You are not alone with this.
I am also having the same problem
Usually they fix things like this really fast, so I would give them some more time.
    Cheers

I can't get Hitman Pro to run a scheduled scan daily. It won't work :(

Is it because I am a limited user ?

    To my knowledge - Yes.
To my knowledge, HMP's scheduled scan only runs when you login in your admin account.
That is to say, that was the situation some years ago, when I asked Erik or Mark. I have no indication this was changed.

    That sucks :(

Anyway to get it to run scheduled scan under a limited user account?

Not that I am aware of.
Perhaps Mark or Erik can provide a definite answer,
or perhaps you can contact SurfRight support to ask, for Erik is (or was?) on vacation, and Mark may be busy.

Yes. there is a way. The following works for me with W7:
    Hide.vbs
    Code:
    If WScript.Arguments.Count <> 1 Then
      WScript.Echo "Runs an application invisibly. Usage:" & "Wscript.exe " & WScript.ScriptName & " ""C:\Path\Program.exe""" & vbCrLf & "Where ""C:\Path\Program.exe"" is the path to any program, script, or batch file."
    Else
      CreateObject("Wscript.Shell").Run """" & WScript.Arguments(0) & """", 0, False
    End If
      'WScript.Echo "Runs an application invisibly. Usage:" & vbCrLf & "Wscript.exe " & WScript.ScriptName & " ""C:\Path\Program.exe""" & vbCrLf & "Where ""C:\Path\Program.exe"" is the path to any program, script, or batch file."

    HitmanPro.cmd
    Code:
    @echo off
    set __COMPAT_LAYER=RunAsInvoker
    start "" "%programfiles%\hitmanpro\hitmanpro.exe" /quiet

    Task Action
(Note: when creating the task, do not check 'Run with highest privileges' otherwise you will get a UAC prompt to run the task)
    Code:
    <Path>Hide.vbs <Path>HitmanPro.cmd

That's not entirely true. The cmd file I posted is how to run HMP from a normal account.

Not sure what you are trying to say. I'm telling you, since you referenced Erik's response to my original question. I'm sure Erik will see the solution that I came up with. The only point I'm trying to make is that it is possible to run a scan from a normal account, which is what the OP wanted to know. I've implemented the code with a standard account using the Windows 7 task scheduler when UAC is enabled and the scan runs as scheduled without any user intervention.

After upgrading my notebook to Windows-10 Hitman-Pro 3.7.9 reports a suspicious "svchost.exe". As it is located in C:\Windows\system32 it seems to be not a trojan. What should I do ?

    http://i60.tinypic.com/2r38pyu.png

When I ignore it, it will show the next scan again.

    Properties show as :

Maybe a stupid questian. But why is it not possible to make a scan over the whole system? When i'm running hitman pro it says that approx 20 000 files have been scanned?

Why can't I scan other drives or particular directories or drives?

    1. afaik HMPA only scans executables and not other files like data files.
    2. You can scan a folder / file by right clicking on one in Windows Explorer.

Strange. I can see my AV when I'm right clicking, but I can't see HitmanPro. Is it because of Windows 10 that I have or is there some other setting I must do in HMP?

    Windows 8.1 Pro x64 & HitmanPro 3.7.9 Build 242, no problems.
As soon as OS upgraded to Windows 10 Pro x64,
the scan stuck at 99% in a file (not always the same file) from
    C > Windows > sysWOW64 folder.

The endless scan remains for hours, the only choice is to cancel the scan
