360 TSE Attached is a screenshot of 360 detection. Tally detection is correct as its crack. Rest detection seems FPs?
roger, Do you know if Rising still updates the sigs on this English version?? Seems the last time I tried Rising a few years ago they had stopped updating, maybe it was an earlier version....
Do a VT check on rundll32.dll as it's location is extremely suspicious to me [usually it's windows\system32 if I remember correctly], and do a crack on VirusTotal as well. For the rest of the entries, especially first two, I am not familiar with it what happened there, do me a background story. Third entry, do me an explorer full patch screenshot to see what is this autorun.inf.....
rundll32 is safe as per VT. Actually detection mentioned correct path but when added to trusted...there the path is different & here there is no such folder. autorun is safe as per VT. Its TeamViewer portable file in portable folder. I checked the file with notepad too & just the text autorun & TV. I too dont understand the first too entries as no info on detection. Whatever was in the screenshot thats all the info. Full scan detected couple more FPs. I uninstalled 360 as its FPs prone & sometimes no info on detection whatsoever so it gets confusing.
thats the 2011 old version and it is incompatible with win 8.1 64bit. I thought you had the latest 2015 english version.
@taleblou You can download Rising V16+ here. The installer has an English language option which you can't select. However if you extract the contents of the installer e.g. with WinRAR and then launch setup.exe, a different installer will run which will let you select English as the language. Unlike the older version, some text has not been translated from Chinese to English.
wow my DNS server, Google, certainly doesnt like that webpage....bypassed it anyhow and will see how the setup works....
I just downloaded 360 Total Security and I enabled Bitdefender and Avira engines but under the virus scan settings it says "Realtime Scan: disabled" for both of them...is that normal? It seems I'd want them enabled for realtime scan but I can't find any way to turn that on.
Where it says "Protection: On" with lightning, click that, click Configure button, change mode to Security.
Just wondered if anyone was seeing a later Avira vdf than the one mentioned in the thread earlier? This one: You`ll probably see the file created on the 27/06/2015 but is obviously only from the 4th, also the .cab file i from the 26th! Personally i think it`s a bit misleading to claim the Avira sigs are up to date when they clearly aren`t. Has anyone ever tryed manually moving sigs over from another machine with Avira on? I suppose you're surprised by the (forum) layout change ! Well, I think it's fine; the webpage loads smoother and faster with the changed layout !
I most certanly am. And I agree, it looks modern. Even though I find it interesting nowadays everything goes flat, tile and windows-ish

I updated to 7.2. Avira signatures are still from 4 June; will there be no more Avira updates? Code: Virus Database File Version: 7.11.237.234 FUP: 1 License date: 4.6.2015 VDF date: 4.6.2015
I'm running TSE and my signatures are dated today for both Bitdefender and Avira. Not that it made much difference when I asked it to scan a known virus I downloaded today and all engines failed to detect it despite the fact that they do if I upload it to VirusTotal.
FWIW, you can change style using the "style chooser" in the bottom left corner of the forum if you want.
