Although I love this program, it's the buggiest dang app i've ever used! I have never had as many BSOD's with any other program. I sure hope this gets fixed soon!

I know the feeling, I was able to reproduce a bsod issue with https://www.zemana.com/AntiLogger upon install using 'newish' windows 7 installs (only difference was they had all current updates installed) with no other 3rd party software (this was a clean VM and so it was a bad omen for me~how could they have not seen this?). I was also a supporter and user of the free AntiLogger program for a while (since encryption wasn't enabled using the regular version on any OS but 8 x64 till recently) but have since decided it wasn't worth the trouble either (example: The Witcher 2) as such you *might* notice that it's no longer present in my sig (despite many correspondences complaining about the problem...and a void of recent responses (though I did have a few token responses and supposed interest)...I guess I've been forgotten along the way, no problem, I uninstalled ZALF and all is well again on my system. I feel slightly less secure but my system and all my games are actually usable atm...no issues, no bsod, no problems period.

    Dear Zemana,

They say imitation is the highest form of flattery but even after months of complaints by other users on this forum, we think it's time for us to kindly ask you to change the way Zemana AntiMalware 2 looks. Despite the fact that your tool is a clear rip-off of HitmanPro's scan cloud philosophy and terminology, we are still hoping you can at least be a little more creative with the way your program is presented. Besides the fact that the size of your tool is almost a pixel perfect copy of ours, we want to ask you to start using at least different colors in the user interface and product icon.

    ZAM2-copycat-blueyellow.jpg
Yellow bar when connection to the "scan cloud"

During "Classifying" the UI changes to almost the same red color on malware detection

Icon, with the same colors in the corners

There are a lot more almost identical elements in ZAM2 but please look into solving at least the mentioned issues.

    Thank you!
    Best regards,

    Dear Mark,

Thanks for your feedback. This was one of the objectives when we decided to develop this project. As you know, we used to sell rebranded version of HMP but once our agreement ended, we had to keep our users happy and this is mostly related to the user experience. Our users loved old Zemana AntiMalware so we decided to provide them with our own application which will let them use it as they used the rebranded version.

So, I agree, ZAM2 looks like HMP but this is all about UX. It is as simple as HMP (maybe more but lets leave it to the users) and I personally love both products since they are both easy to use and powerful.

To sum it up, let's focus on developing better, faster and easy to use products rather than dealing with the colors. We are currently working on a big surprise right now and once it is released and tested, we will release the v3 of ZAM which will be even easier to use and that is the time we will change the UI of the application.

    Best Regards.

The last days always I have problems with cloud connection.
    ZAM Portable 2.16.2.633 & Windows 8.1 x64.

First it takes very long time to connect,
then comes the warning "Cloud Connection Failed" (Fig1),
    hit "OK",
then warning "No Internet Connection" (Fig2),
    hit "Connect",
afterwards connects to the cloud (Fig3).

    Hello Everyone,

We are happy to announce that Zemana AntiMalware 2 got the highest score in Rootkit Remediation test among 5 globally known products.

    Please find it below

In-the-wild Rootkit Remediation Comparative Analysis Report of MRG Effitas.

Thanks a lot for your feedback, without you, this would not come true...

Exactly, it is a sponsored test and it shows the result of remediation of the persistent ITW malware samples.

Even ZAM2 was not able to clean 2 of them.

Is this elementary? I wish it was...

    verb
verb: sponsor; 3rd person present: sponsors; past tense: sponsored; past participle: sponsored; gerund or present participle: sponsoring
    1.
provide funds for (a project or activity or the person carrying it out).

Commission as in assignment, to carry out a task.

So in short Zemana paid this testing company to carry out tests on their behalf..Or are you questioning the integrity of MRG Effitas?

I am sure you wouldn't mind sharing the hashes of the 8 droppers that were used, would you?

    I noticed something odd.

I searched 12dccdec47928e5298055996415a94f2 in Virustotal, shows Detection ratio: 0/54.

But in the Virustotal comments box, there's a link of CRDF. In the page there, it shows in Virustotal 26 AVs are detecting malware. The hashes are same in both. All the other hashes are detected by most AVs, but only for this one I am seeing this "behavior". Maybe someone else can explain this?

I checked the google cached page of VT and the cached page of 23rd June shows 40/57 detections. While the "new" page shows clean by all engines and the analysis date is being shown as only 4 days old.

    (Edited to include some information)
