Hm, Panda on very top. That's interesting. A bit surprised over avast!. It's quite high overall.

Still not exactly up there, but good result. I wonder how far will they be able to take newly introduced HIPS component. Hopefully it will be able to complement the rest even further.

    Nice results from top scorers.
ESET is the only AV with 0 FPs - also good result.

Interesting...Panda seems for real. There are quite a few good solid choices to pick from: FP's are an issue for some!!!

  8. What is also remarkeable: from October 2014 to March 2015 Microsoft default level averages around 85%, since May 2015 this has increased to avreages around 90%. I have some relatives on MSE and MBAM (with life time license), since MBAM changed to yearly renewals I have installed Panda Free on PC's of others.

I am still in doubt to change MSE + MBAM over to Panda :doubt:

    Panda's excellent performance since Q2 2014 versus MBAM's excellent des-infection capabilities.

Why don't you use Panda + MBAM? Are there any compatibility issues?

  10. Because this might upset the people without MBAM licenses (why don't I have ...) ;)

If only Panda would include their stupid URL scanning within the app itself. This is really the only reason why I'm not using it. And yes, I know youc an separate URL scanner from the toolbar. I still hate it. They have the URL Monitor in the app which literally does nothing. It just lists accessed URL's and that's it. Ugh.

Only problem with Panda is that there current version is not compatible with windows 10 yet. I hope there are on time for the 29th.
(Others like Emsisoft are also not ready yet.)

I'd say FP's are an issue for many, F-Secure and Trend Micro having a real problem...

Yes...Norton's issue isn't fear of results as he stated...it goes back a ways.

What are you guys talking about? There is no such issue between AV-C and Symantec. Symantec continues to participate in some of our tests each year (like Business review, sometimes Mobile etc.). They just are not in the main-test series because one of the tests (FDT) in the test-series is mandatory, in which they currently do not wish to participate. Therefore they can't be in the public main-tests.

Their 2016 beta is but I didn't see anywhere near the result AV-C shows for 2015.

I'm curious why Tencent and Baidu are on there and Qihoo is not; they were all accused of malfeasance.

It's funny how some products are Windows 10 ready for months and some are not even in a proper beta stage...

More so for security software that's supposed to be attuned to what's going on up to the 0-day...
