Surprised I couldnt find this anywhere else on Wilders. http://www.christianpost.com/news/turing-phone-available-for-pre-order-on-july-31-141196/ http://www.cnet.com/products/turing-phone/ Interesting, but not sure what to make of it yet.
I don't see anything about the radio and its closed-source firmware. Maybe better is the Neo900: http://hardware.slashdot.org/story/15/05/21/1455230/pre-orders-start-for-neo900-open-source-phone According to DocScrutinizer05 on IRC, the neo900 project will accept Bitcoin and cash by mail. And "anonymous fulfillment" (on-site pickup, I presume) is possible for wholesale (N>50) orders. Cool. Someone could sell them for cash at conferences, etc See http://irclog.whitequark.org/neo900/2015-07-10
While I appreciate the effort they went to, it probably is excessive for me and a little on the pricey side. I am really looking for something moderately secure but still able to run a lot of the stuff I use every day.
