Mozilla recently introduced Pocket into Firefox, but I have never used it, and don't think I ever will. I don't think I will ever find a use for it. Will you?
By "all devices" I'm primarily referring to my work laptop, home laptop and smartphone. So a general modus operandi would be to see an article you like at work - save it to Pocket, and pick it up later at home. Pocket also saves the progress of reading an article, so you can start reading it on your home laptop and finish things later on your smartphone. I use it quite a bit with Hacker News - so you trawl through the 10's of articles and Pocket all the useful looking ones to take it up in the day. It saves you the hassle of having to read everything now.
Haven't used it and don't expect to. -Actually after looking into it, I disabled it and Hello also. I think whoever is in charge of Firefox development has lost their way.
If you have the extension Classic Theme Restorer installed you can fine tune the Australis monster your liking and undo any changes introduced on the fly. Works with Mozilla and its community offshoots.
yep, including restoring the old options and search bar. Checking Firefox from time to time reminds me why I'm with PaleMoon.
I sometimes see articles on my phone that I'd like to read on a larger screen, eg my desktop. Are you using Pocket with Firefox for Android? I have it working fine on the desktop, but can't seem to figure out how to get it working on the phone. Edit: OK, turns out Pocket is not a plugin for Firefox on Android. I needed to install the standalone Pocket for Android app. Works fine now.
Hi but it doesn't work for every language , for example i can not see it , i haven't it the only new icon i have is this http://i.imgur.com/eb2yRWm.jpg
"Pocket for Firefox is a part of Firefox for American, German, Japanese, Russian and Spanish users." That's what I read on mozillaZine forum. I removed it immediately from Fx.
Really? gHacks talks about Pocket and Reader Mode too. Edit: I did what was posted above and used Classic Theme Restorer. It certainly makes Firefox into a very nice browsing experience.
