Yes, it's Internet Explorer's InPrivate Browsing.
I thought it was called InPrivate navigation, but that seems to be what it is called in Dutch and in French, for some weird reason.
I corrected "InPrivate navigation" to "InPrivate Browsing", in my previous post.
    Thanks very much.

    W7-x64 US Professional, US keyboard, IE11, FF 37.0.2, hpa187, hp240,...

IE11 inPrivate Browsing does not show 'Colored window borders' and no Keystroke encryption flyouts anymore,
but actual encrytion is still done (validated with the hmpalert testool)!

    Thanks very much, L10090.

I hope the missing colored borders with IE9 and IE11 InPrivate Browsing are just a 'cosmetic' problem.
I hope all HMPA's protections are still applied, not only Keystroke Encryption.
But until someone tests that, or until Erik or Mark confirms, I think we may not be sure.

Can someone send a screenshot of the tree in Process Explorer (focused on the hmpalert.exe service process) when the keystroke encryption no longer working? This to determine whether one of the hmpalert.exe processes has crashed.

Erik, do you want a hmp.alert-minidump (Process Explorer > Create Dump)?

Firefox: fly out, green border and encryption. IE11: fly out, no green border (W7 64 bits/build 187).

...just info...while FF encrypting is not working....at the same time IE and Chrome and Other has functional encrypting...
I'll have three browser open at the same time as well as 'Other' checking encrypting...
only Firefox does not have encrypting....green border shows in Firefox...Keyboard logger test confirms. IDK if this is relevant ...

:D I dunno! earlier betas problematic, back and forth between mbae & hmpa3. Uninstalled mbae very completely and a few other security apps, installed 183 which autoupdated to 187 within 24 hrs, reinstalled apps but not mbae and 187 is working the way Erik thinks it should... finally :thumb: Not looking too deeply, just enjoying it. The one app I'm not running is sbie, and I'm missing it, but haven't tried to reinstall it yet, either 3.76 (for xp specific) or current version as I understand (somewhat) that 3.76 is best for xp.

Well. I haven't played with MBAE. 187 encrypting in Firefox works until it stops ;)
    Not the first time....

I Tried Kaspersky 2016 16.0.0.441 beta today and it wasn't compatible with hitmanpro alert 187. If you tried to install with hmpa3 installed Kaspersky would error out. If you installed hmpa3 after Kaspersky was installed next reboot Kaspersky doesn't start.

Have you tested Alert against Rombertik?

Hitman Pro Alert v187 doesn't work for me (check screenshots). I can't enable all the disable functions.

Please reboot. It seems that the service is not running.

Yes a minidump of both the hmpalert.exe service and hmpalert.exe tray (child process) would be much appreciated!

Minor phrasing issue on page http://www.surfright.nl/en/alert:
"It also makes malware belief it is running ..." should be "It also makes malware believe it is running ..."

Two problems with Microsoft Process Explorer v16.05 (run as admin): hmpalert.exe-minidump is 0 kb and I get an Access denied-message with the hmp.alert tray. Can someone provide Erik with the two dmps?

    Run ProcessExplorer with administrator rights.

I already reboot, but this doesn't fix this issue.

For now, I can tell you that HMPro Alert doesn't appear on the system tray.

HMPro Alert.jpg Yes, I've just uninstalled and reinstall it. All is OK.

Please check, this screenshot, I only have one exe file on the HMPro Alert folder. Is that normal ?
