I'm giving browser add-on NoScript Light for Firefox a try, and i'm really liking it so far. It's so simple to use. You can whitelist sites that need to use script in just 2 clicks, and you can disable NoScript Light completely in 2 clicks. NoScipt Light also tells you how many scripts it blocks per page. There's no confusing settings to deal with for users that have trouble configuring NoScript. I'm using NoScript, and NoScript Light together so far without any problems. NoScript Light is in it's early stage of development, and I think it has a lot of potential. I would recommend giving it a try. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/noscript-lite/?src=ss

What would be the advantage of using both together?

The only reason i'm using them together right now is because NoScript Light is in such early stage of development that I can't say I trust that it will block all scripts like NoScript does. I will need to get in touch with the developer to see if NoScript Light will block everything that NoScript does. I doubt that it does since there is no settings to configure in NoScript Light. It's faster, and more convenient to whitelist sites with NoScript Light. I'm more likely to leave script blocking on with NoScript Light than NoScript. They both have their advantages, and disadvantages.
