    Good point Victek.

Edit: Erik already answered your question.

    Yeah, try browser Exclude
I'm running SBIE + HMP.A on Vista with FF sandbox'd by FF Disable Mitigations. 184 will simplify for me.
NOTE: NOTHING should be excluded. Unless it is not running at all.

    Hi Erik

The other feature I would like would to add an application without having it running. Using the same kind of browse feature.

Great, no reboot necessary. Regarding applications it sounds like other security apps that start with Windows should not be excluded; is that correct?

NOTHING should be excluded. Unless it is not running at all.

The exclude should be treated as a last resort.

Thanks a lot! That came exactly in the right moment. Just bought GTA 5 and was wondering why I couldn't install it. It just silently crashed every time I tried. With no HMPA alert, just an eventlog entry of the crashed program.

So for everyone with the same issue - exclude the following file (default installation folder):
    Code:
    C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\GTAVLauncher.exe

No problems with the download from all the sites in Vista x86 IE9 with HMPA3 build 183 active.
My own download problems in W8.1 are solved in the newest Avast update 2015_10_2_2218.

Thanks very much for testing, heikwith.
Great that your W8.1 download issue is solved with the Avast update.

Where you replied, "No problems with the download from all the sites", where you said "all sites", may I assume you also meant the Realtek High Definition Audio 2.76 download from the Realtek site (as mentioned here and here)?
That is the only download issue that I experience. With other downloads I experience no issues.
If you were able to download Realtek High Definition Audio 2.76 from the Realtek site, using Windows Vista x86 IE9 with HMPA3 build 183 active, then my issue must have another cause than HMPA3.
    Quite interesting matter, though.

    Can anybody answer this question?

    I would say, test it.
If you run into problems you can always disable one of both to figure out whether it's a combination of the two tools that was causing an issue.

W7-x64, IE11, FF-Nightly, hp240, installed hpa184 over 183. Fo far no problems/issues.:) I do not have (yet) candidates for EXCLUSION!

I am very curious if build-184 (partially) solves the keystroke encryption problems mentioned earlier on this forum thread.

Doesn't solve mine. It used to work on install until reboot then stop. Now it does not work at all.

    Q: Exclude application
Is that the same as Disable mitigations

Keystroke encryption fell off again... green border but, no encryption flyout. 183

Encryption flyout is back with 184 update.
Um, trying to Exclude Firefox just to see how it works.
I can add FF updater and/or FF crashreporter to Exclude but, not Firefox. ?
Exclude says Browse to application. So, is FF not an application ?

Sorry if the question was already answered, but can someone tell me if are there any conflicts between HMP.A and Foolish-IT CryptoPrevent?

I use CryptoPrevent at the default protection level and it does not conflict with HMPA CryptoGuard

You cannot exclude an application that is already listed, like Firefox. First Remove mitigations from Firefox, then add it as exclude.

No as Disable mitigations only disables the exploit mitigations. Exclude means that Alert does not keep track of remote code injections from the excluded application into other applications like browsers. Also it is exempted from vaccination, process protection, etc.

What security products are you running?

I have no problems running both (CryptoPrevent on default setting).

    W7-x64 US, US keyboard, Spybot S&D 2.4, MSEssentials, HP240, HPA183/184, IE11, FF-Nightly 40.0a1

In both hpa183 and hpab184 there is NO keystroke encryption flyout shown for the protected 'Office' products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
The Colored Window Border (blue) does show!

Encryption flyouts are shown for applications listed under 'Browser' (IE, FF) and 'Other' (Skype, 7Zip).

    1. Is this intentional (did I miss something)?
    2. Is it just a matter of not showing while keystroke encryption actually does occur?

Keystroke Encryption is only enabled of category Browsers and Other. So other categories (like Office) do not have Keystroke Encryption.
