    The False alarm test set is independent of the test sets of the file detection and real world tests.

    Avira and Kaspersky: Wow! Oddly enough Avira in this test has 0 FPs but got many in the file test...

    Avast! also improved a bit over last year here.Hopefully just like the improvement was seen in AV-test we will even see it here.Well Done Qihoo!!

    Looks like avast! has improved consistently. Some mroe tests to fully confirm it but so far it looks good, scoring at the very top. Anything at 99% and above is a really good result even if you're not at the "top 3" position.

    One other is Emisoft = it did have 4 FPs though, but detected 100%. In 0.7% of the cases Emsisoft Anti-Malware displayed an alert which recommends the user to block the threat instead of automatic removal, which is why AV-C counts these as “user dependent”.

    One additional + for EMISOFT is that it detects PUPs :)

    The free Fortinet is not bad either, and just one FP.

    Yes, Emsisoft AM is excellent, I just wish it wasn't too "heavy" on my old rig.

    Makes my old laptop slow, I never watch the memory usage :)

    trend showing lots of fp's in this test. this has also been my experience with it. but a few here said ...no way trend doesnt have fp's lol....
