Good results for most applications. Protecting Android seems easier than protecting Windows.

    Almost any solution seems fine.

I think the differentiation are 'features'.. Lost phone, recovery, tracking, etc. For that I use Norton. It protects, but has a really nice web interface and remote control functionality while NOT slowing the phone and creating too many hideous alerts for non-issues. I also GREATLY recommend Norton for it's App-Store verification, which 'pre-scans' apps before you even download them. Nice part, any Norton license can work on Mobile. They don't segregate devices/operating systems, etc. Trend is OK, but recent updates it has become overly chatty IMO.

I decided to give Sophos another try. I am impressed with its speed and accuracy. And they finally changed that Pepto-Bismol pink to blue.

Is Android's lost phone, tracing, etc... good?

Do you encrypt phone with Android's encryption feature?
