There should be no intended differences... it could well be anything but it is the only thing that jumps out at me.
To answer your question, My personal desktop has the same config as my laptop. Windows 8.1 x64, Norton Security 2015, MBAM Premium (Paid), Sandboxie 4.17.2 beta, but not actively using it. Exclusions set in Norton and MBAM for each other and HMPA. IE 11, Firefox 37.0.1, Chrome 42.
The other machine is Windows 7 x64, with Trend Micro Maximum Security 2015. IE 11, Firefox 37.0.1, Chrome 42.
Latest Windows Updates on all machines.

To answer your question, all boxes are checked and the colored border shows. The keyboard encryption is not working, even though the "Keyboard Encryption" tab shows up with the colored frame, it is not doing anything. The little "Encrypting" box does not show up, and the Exploit Test Tool shows plain text.

Also, I just updated to the beta on the non-functioning machine. No difference.

For the weird reason that on both my Vista x86 and Windows 7 x64 systems that issue was gone before implementing build 182, I cannot confim the fix. Nevertheless, the issue is gone, and L10090 confirmed the fix.

    Confirmed.

Installed b182 over b181, no clean install.

Also I just installed on the machine where I got the alert on Outlook. Nothing so far, but that was random.

Also confirmed. IE properties no longer causing crash.

Installed beta on machine that was working anyway. Still working fine. Installed on another machine for test. Everything seems to work ok. No other security installed. Will keep testing with the 2 broken machines in an attempt to identify the issue.

I am a reseller, I have a customer computer. We installed HMPA 181 and cannot activate it with key. when we enter in the key and click activate the green progress bar moves a slight amount then disappears. It will not activate.
The customer computer will only be in the shop a limited time.
How do I get help for this

Edit: Installing HMP and activating that worked.

    A few things to try:

    1. Is the key still valid?
    2. You can try activating via HitmanPro Anti-Malware application (Settings > License tab)

Please let me know how this fares.

I am also available for a remote session for the next hour.

That SERIOUSLY looks like a code injection from Explorer.exe into Chrome.exe. I would perform a malware scan if I were you.

also I have a another 2.6.5.77 upgrade that failed. Win 7 64 bit. The HMPA service won't start on boot. It works if I start the HMPA service manually. You can remote on that also

Going back to a question a while back about adding the cryptoguard folder to SBIE it would appear from the Sandboxie forum, it would appear the adding c:windows\cryptoguard to direct access in file resources is a good idea. I've already done it and not seen any problem from doing it.

Installed HMP.A 3.0.36 build 181 a few days ago, right over build 152. Running great! :thumb:

    Vista Home Premium SP2, x64

If no issues crop up over the next week or so, I'll recommend HMP.A to my technophobic "launch-and-forget" family members.

There were a few issues with build 181 that were fixed in build 182 beta.
And based on some other issues that were reported over the past days and weeks, I guess there may be a few more bugfix versions before I will say HMPA3 is truly recommend to our technophobic friends and family members.
Keep an eye on this thread.

Except Erik has said previously not to add security products, so if you run into any problems with KeePass...
