B&R 14 Free - Can't restore files/folders from VD

Hi forks,

I made a drive backup with B&R 14 Free. Then I tried to restore files/folders from it to another drive by "Restore from VD Wizard".

The wizard always says "System restart is required to complete the operation", I restart the computer, boot-time mode appears, and it fails because "There is no possibility to backup archive to its own location".

How can I restore files/folders successfully?

Try to run an integrity check on the backup.

 

"Check VD Integrity" button is disabled on B&D 14 Free...

 

I've had some backups that fail during the restore procedure and just selecting an older one works. Even had one that I restored with fail to restore later!

 

Restore suddenly worked. I changed nothing so it's weird but anyway, thanks!
