I was unable to delet a file that was locked so i booted a bootable cd withParagon Back up and Recovery 2013 free and it worked. I see there is now a 14 at http://www.paragon-software.com/home/br-free/download.html But the download is from download.com. Has anyone used that. Some say dDownload.com can add addware etc? http://www.paragon-software.com/home/rk-free/ looks like a good tool too but also from downlod.com
I think you can safely download and use these programs. According to my experience, Paragon programs with "14" in their names are buggy. But it can be different for you. Just try them.
Thanks. Do all bootable disks allow you to browse to a file you want to delete which is on hard drive locked by windows
In principle, you can delete files using the File Transfer Wizard. Don´t know what happens if the disk is locked.
i could not delete this one within windows. it was somehow locked. booting from paragon cd i was able to delete it
