Do you use premium version or free? The problem may be that Amazon Silk is not in the browsers list yet, so Adguard considers it an app, not a web browser (apps are not filtered in free version)
We will add Amazon Silk to the browsers list in the next update. For now the only way to filter it is using premium or trial.
Adguard for ANdroid makes downloading stuff from Googleplay slow, or unresponsive. I had to disable it. Any clue as to a work around?
@avatar I have installed Inoreader and it freezes sometimes. I disabled filtering of applications and it seems better but not perfect. So I disabled the whole adguard and the issue is gone. Edit: I have restarted tablet and it looks fine. Will keep eyes for a while.
It's an answer why there is no filtering. We can't do full https filtering and the limited one is not enough.
Today we have some news for Android users: https://blog.adguard.com/en/adguard-news/brand-new-adguard-licenses.html We have finally introduced new "Mobile" license. It is much cheaper - starting with $9.95 per year ($24.95 for lifetime license).
They can block https sites on per domain basis but filtering https contents is technically impossible on unrooted Android. For this purpose, you have to use addon but currently only firefox support such addon AFAIK.
Well, it (filtering https contents) might be possible in proxy mode if you (and Adgurad) don't care to manually add certificate. But even if it could, still I don't want Adguard to do this cuz it has potential security risk. But as they say "limited", at least some ads or nasty can be filtered by domain level filtering, and for http sites all filter should work. If not, there must be some problem.

I'm interested in beta testing 1.2, is there any update on when this will be available? The latest beta version I can find is1.1.887 which is the same version as the latest stable release.
As always I was wrong with the deadline It is almost ready, some bugs with firewall traffic statistics left. We will fix them tomorrow and beta is ready.
