That's good. Same here. Your CSM (Compatibility Support Module) is Enabled and it is allowing you to boot Legacy OS even though you have Secure Boot enabled in the UEFI firmware. If you were booting Win8 in UEFI Secure Boot mode (you aren't) then you would disable CSM and non Secure Boot OS wouldn't boot.

Ideally, you should Disable Secure Boot as you aren't using it. But it doesn't really matter as the CSM is over-riding it.

Can't download them with a local account. :thumbd: I'm just trying to do some software testing on a virtual machine. I don't want to use a Microsoft account for this. Still finding this build of Windows 10 to be too rough to use. I hope they come up with something better soon.

I was concerned at first. But it is not a big deal at all. Use your Gmail, Yahoo, Yandex, etc email address and create a new password for your Microsoft account. You can change back to your Local account any time you like.

It's mostly about the fact that I have 2 Microsoft accounts already. I don't want this thing syncing settings with my other machines and I don't want a third account to keep track of. It's all just a hassle.

I had a feeling when Windows 10 was announced that Microsoft would get their own back on the users that hated Windows 8's looks by making the desktop, apps & icons look like metro, sadly they really seem to be going down that road.

The general consensus is that those new icons are on the fugly side. But the reality is that user FaiKee is generally quite credible. So if those icons come out next build, hopefully enough users voice their opinions.

Windows 10 started out at what looked like a decent OS.
If you go on the Windows 10 forum you will see the opposite.

I'm afraid that future Microsoft OSes will just get worse, if that's possible.
    Long live Windows 7.
I know Windows 10 is still in beta but that does not mean that Microsoft is going
to do the right thing for the Desktop PC users.
IMHO they have become an advertising mill and no longer care about
    business application or their users.

Well the first part of your post (and the title) was a bit harsh, but of course you wanted to grab our attention. :)
...but the last part about business applications and their users actually makes a lot of sense. Actually, I completely agree...

I would prefer the equation type naming system i.e. Windows 50(-40).

    Regards Eck :)
